Very good news to India and great news for Shahrukh Khan fans. The actor with the midas touch, Shahrukh Khan finds himself as one of the 50 powerful persons in the world. Fresh from the success of his recent film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, SRK has proved that he truly is the biggest brand of India. The rating has been given by the US based news magazine: News week. Incidentally, Barack Obama, the US president is the most powerful person in the world.

Shahrukh Khan deserves the position of being among the top 50 powerful people in the world. To critics who think that he does the same kind of romantic films, he has shown his versatility time and again in movies like Baazigar( trend setting negative role), Darr(obsessive lover), Anjaam(manic persona), Swades(a soft spoken NRI) and Chak De India(a no nonsense sports coach). Shahrukh Khan has made directors Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar where they are today. Though they tried do make movies without Shahrukh Khan, they have not succeeded quite, ex. Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Kaal and Dostana. Kajol herself has her most succesful films attributed to her pairing with Shahrukh Khan. Without Shahrukh Khan, she only has a passable Fanna as her only succesful film. Shahrukh Khan is truly the kind of Bollywood. With moderately publicized Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi doing well, SRK shows that he is the best investment in Bollywood.
