Bollywood is finally going bare and uninhibited. First we had the smooch scene of Raja Hindustani which paved way for more kisses in Bollywood. Then came the trend of six-packs for men and bikinis for women. Somewhere down the line, well-toned bodies of guys and gals in Bollywood made the makers experiment with them, showcasing them in the buff for their films. So here is the list of male actors and actresses who have dared and bared in films Mind you, some of the full-frontal exposure may not be for titillation, it can be for increasing the authentic appeal of the characters

1. Neil Nitin Mukesh: Neil Nitin Mukesh has go on full frontal for a scene in Jail (2009). The scene is believed to be aesthetically shot and the scene is about a jail torture for Neil Nitin Mukesh’s character.
2. John Abraham: John Abraham is believed to have stripped to buff, going full frontal but covered in dark (sigh ladies) for a scene in New York (2009). This again is a torture scene. Again John Abraham showed a part of his muscular derriere for Dostana(2008).
3. Ranbir Kapoor: Ranbir Kapoor was a feast to ogle for women when he made their imagination gone wild in a transparent towel song from Saawariya(2007). The director Sanjay Leela Bhansali confessed that he wanted to give women audiences something to lust for as well. The towel dropping scene where Ranbir’s butt was supposed to be shown, was censored because it was considered too much to handle

1. Zeenat Aman: Zeenat Aman went topless covered with a flimsy white cloth, driving male imagination to frenzy in the movie Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978).
2. Aruna Irani: Aruna Irani had a body double in a nursing scene from Doodh Ka Karz
3. Mandakini: Raj Kapoor, the genius who confessed his fascination to mammaries, had Mandakini taking a bath in the waterfall, in a transparent white saree which left nothing to imagination in the movie Ram Teri Ganga Maili(1985). There was also a lactating scene in which a generous part of Mandakini asset was revealed.
4. Simi Garewal: Simi Garewal, a bold actress of her times, did a topless scene in the movie Siddartha(1972) opposite Shashi Kapoor
5. Smitha Patil: Smitha Patel, a legendary actress with talent par excellence exposed her derrière in a flimsy see-through red dress in a scene from Chakra(1982), which left nothing to imagination.
6. Udita Goswami: Though Udita Goswami didn’t show any controversial body part, the scene in Zeher(2005) was so shot aesthetically and sensuously, that it gave an impression that she was all bare under the sheets.
7. Manisha Koirala: Manisha Koirala was involved in a major controversy over her steamy scenes and butt exposure in the movie Ek Choti Si Lovestory(2002). She dragged the director Shashilal Nair to the court for maligning her reputation because a body double had been used without her knowledge.
8. Dimple Kapadia: Dimple Kapadia had a major case of wardrobe malfunction in the movie Saagar(1985). A topless Dimple Kapadia’s towel came off for a split second.
9. Kangana Ranaut: Kangana Ranaut was allegedly shot in the buff for Raaz 2(2009). However, later reports confirmed that she wore very skin tight dress to replicate the all bare effect. She had even posed for the promo of “I love you boss” in just a shirt over her body.
10. Seema Biswas: Seema Biswas was shot frontal for a scene from Bandit Queen(1994) . It was a scene which showed her being paraded without clothes in view of the full village, as a punishment. The shot was authentic and the scene was meant to evoke a repulsive reaction rather than titillate.
11. Lisa Ray: Lisa Ray is perhaps the boldest Bollywood actor ever who has no qualms about doing intimate scenes in the buff for the benefit of the script. Lisa Ray exposed in Water (2002), The World Unseen(2007), I can’t think straight(2007), Kill Kill Faster(2008).
12. Sherlyn Chopra: Sherlyn Chopra, the boldest starlet this side of the planet, revealed a part of her assets in the movie The Red Swastik(2007) in the opening credits . Her MMS also did the rounds which the straight forward girl confessed to as well.
13. Mallika Sherwat: Mallika Sherawat was involved in a 2 second topless scene in the movie The Myth(2005).
14. Aishwarya Rai: There was a controversy about whether Aishwarya had actually worn something or was it her butt for real in the scene from Last Legion(2007) where, she emerges from the waters.
15. Helen Brodie: Helen Brodie went topless for the movie Monsoon(2001). A controversial film which had intimate scenes was considered a taboo film at the time it released.
16. Padma Lakshmi: Padma Lakshmi who is naturally comfortable with her natural self, having shot in many magazines, was seen in a transparent dress, which revealed the obvious in Boom(2003).
17. Antara Biswas: Antara Biswas or Mona Lisa,a B-grade starlet showed skin in quite a films including Tauba, Tauba and gave a scene of implicit nudity in the movie Love Guru (2007).
18. Tanushree Dutta: Tanushree Dutta revealed a bit too much in a second where she bends to pick up a book in Aashiq Banaya Apne (2005)
19. Nandita Das: Nandita Das who has shot some bold scenes for her movies like Earth(1996), Bhawandar and Fire(1996), was topless in the movie Fire in a lesbian love-making scene with Shabana Azmi
20. Deepa Sahi: Deepa Sahi was topless in a lovemaking scene in the movie Maya Memsaab (1992) opposite Shahrukh. The scene was aesthetically shot.
21. Deepika Chikhaliya: Deepika Chikhaliya was seen in a B-grade movie where there was an accidental focus(or was it deliberate) on one of her assets which poked out of the foamy bubbles. The director decided to retain it. Hey Ram!
22. Ayesha Jhulka: Ayesha Jhulka cried foul over her two second topless scene in movie Dalaal opposite Mithun Chakrborthy. A body double was involved
23. Anu Aggarwal: Anu Aggawal went topless for a love-making scene in the movie Cloud Door. She also exposed in lactating scene for the movie Khalnaika.
24. Kashmira Shah: Kashmira Shah cried foul about being shot topless from side and various stages of undress, for the film Revathi . She was livid that she was not informed about the camera peering into unwanted areas. In fact, she said that she would have been better prepared and would have workout if such a scene was required.
25. Indira Verma: Indira Verma, dusky and sensuous, is part Italian, part Indian by birth. She had a bold and provocative role replete with steamy scenes and full frontal nudity for Kamasutra-A Tale of Love(1997)
26. Nandana Sen: Nandana Sen showed her curves and flirted the sceen with a peek of her assets through the side view in Tango Charlie(2003)
