Bipasha Basu, one of the hottest actress in Bollywood, literally and 'figure'atively loves to experiment with her looks and her performances. The beautiful actress who has a good quota of hit commerical films, comedy films like All the Best, has a good measure of art cinema as well. One such movie that Bipasha Basu is doing and is well on its way to release is Pankh.
In director Shudipto Chattopadhyay’s "Pankh", Bipasha plays an imaginary character. "I play an alter ego. I am an imaginary character - the protagonist in the film is a boy called Maradona; he has done a fabulous job," said Bipasha who was recently seen in "Race"."It is about a boy who goes through gender confusion. He is a child artiste but plays a female child artiste and is very popular. Then he grows up and wants to be launched as a hero but there is a kind of confusion in his mind.
"The boy’s family is poor and they want to make it big. The pressure of parents and ridicule make it a very sad situation for him. Eventually he creates this imaginary character he is in love with. And that imaginary character happens to be an actress as well. It is quite a crazy role and many would say why Bipasha has done it, but I like it so I do it."
What does Bipasha Basu have to say about her blockbuster hit All the Best? Well, she is happy for sure. She had said before the movie's release. "It brought the No Entry taste back to me. All the Best reminded me of No Entry. We laughed all the time. My character in All the Best is of Jhanvi who is married to Ajay Devgan, it's fun to work with Ajay and he is a fantastic actor," Bipasha said.
The actress who is very conscious of her figure in her real life played a woman who runs a gym which is in bad shape."Although she is the most sane person in the film Jhanvi runs a dilapidated gym. Frankly, I would never join a gym like that," the actress joked.
Coming to Pankh, Bipasha Basu has looked never as hot, as she does in this film. The girl will be mouthing some cuss words as well and will be doing some bold scenes. So set your wings to flights of fancy in Pankh!
