Pritam has found his calling. This year, he has given some of the best scores of 2009. Almost 80 percent of hit tunes of 2009 are Pritam's compositions. The music director who swung to popularity since 2004 with Dhoom Machale, however, never got a Filmfare or Screen award. This year, Pritam seems to be clearly winning to take all the music awards for 2010,

7.Dil Bole Hadipaa (Ishq Hi Hain Rab)
8. All the Best-The Fun Begins (Main Jitni Martaba, All the Best Title Song)
Personally in terms of soulful content, New York and Tum Mile are the best Pritam music compositions of 2009. What do you think?

Nope! Never! I do agree that Pritam is a talented MD, but he is nowhere close to his highness A R Rahman! Pritam's songs are more of the "disco" type songs which go super hit for the first month, and after that, it's completely forgotten. ARR's songs are those that inscribe into your heart! ARR is undoubtedly the best!
