Comedy preferred theme in Bollywood

Wanted was also more of a masala movie leaning towards action.

Movies on serious topics which had less than one per cent humor were rejected like Jail, Delhi 6 and Kurbaan, even though they were decently made. New York's romantic track with the terrorist backdrop worked but in the case of Kurbaan, it was terrorism on the background with the romance relegated to the background, at least that is what people thought.
