Reality TV faces its Sach Kaa Saamna

Samajwadi Party MP Kamal Akhtar has got it all wrong when he says reality TV promotes obscenity and family values. The typical beeped cuss words that we hear in reality shows are something that we all have grown up with. There is no Indian who has not heard colorful language. So the question of bad words used is totally uncalled for; it is a part of our culture too. Has Mr. Akhtar not heard about bawdy, boisterous songs sung in full public in north Indian weddings? That is also a part of our culture. Let’s face it; we are talking reality elevision, so you cannot have the participants being la-di-dah and using poetic language. That does not happen in reality, does it?
Moral policing is not required. If at all, you feel some content is objectionable, switch off the television; it is as simple as that. Do not care about how it will affect other people; they are smart enough to mind their own business. The youth is finally returning to television. Believe it or not, the youth bade bye to television long ago from the time Nukkad, Buniyaad and Hum Log went off the air. These were shows of real people that connected with everyone. With the deluge of saas-bahu serials, the youth went back to movies which had something to look forward too. Thankfully, for the first time in 20 years, television has made movies look regressive.
It is not the question of vulgarity; it is the question of quality content in your programs. Saas-bahu serials were plain stupid, with women wearing expensive sarees to bed, having their second husband resurrected thanks to dropping TRPs and melodrama that would put many to bed early. Okay, we credit them with the last bit; they did promote a good habit.
Smita Mathai whose reference is taken up by Kamal Akhtar, when citing about denigrating family values through reality shows; has herself said that her family had been fully aware of her emotions and have supported her. Since she said nothing wrong has happened between her husband and her, why are we so concerned? We are concerned because as a nation we are voyeuristic. Reality has always turned India on. Movies like Satya, A Wednesday, Shoot out at Lokhandwala and Mumbai Meri Jaan have clicked because we identify with reality.
Reality television has given people so much fame and recognition that many secretly vie for. People like Sambhavana Seth, Raja Chaudhary, Marc Robinson, Ishq Bector become so much popular after Big Boss and Iss Jungle se Mujhe Bachao. Guys like Nauman Sait, Ashutosh Kaushik and Alina Wadiwala are now household names. People like Ranvijay and Palak have come from nowhere and are now doing movies. Reality shows have made people carve their own niche and become popular. Rakhi ka Swayamvar, the show which everyone has something to comment, on has more than 5000 fans on Facebook.
It is sad that politicians target reality shows when a fact is that someone from their clan, a politician like Sanjay Nirupam received so much popularity, support and love after he appeared in Big Boss. Not many know that the concept of reality show was started by the sacred daddy of all channels, Doordarshan, when it would telecast live parliament proceeding 15 years ago in the morning from 8:30 to 9 every morning. That one had MPs behaving in the most uncouth manner, swearing and insulting mercilessly.

'Savita bhabhi',The legendary sexy character of the Internet ' is immortalized and one wishes there was someone from Bollywood who could play the sultry, luscious Savita Bhabhi. Here are the primary characteristics that Savita Bhabhi shows apart from the usual dosage of ultra-high sex drive. Savita Bhabhi is: fiercely independent, secretive, multi-talented, a home-maker and knows the art of reaching where she wants and getting what she desires. Savita Bhabhi is local at heart but international in her quest to be at the top. So which actress from Bollywood can play Savita Bhabhi in the best manner? Which Bollywood actress can give life to Savita Bhabhi with the right touch (pun intended) and the right feel (pun super intended)
Here are the Bollywood Savita Bhabhi nominations (plus points marked in green):
Please give your votes in the left side of the screen
1. Sushmita Sen: Sushmita Sen has a care -a-damn self determined attitude in her. The fiercely independent woman has always done things her way. Sushmita Sen has the sultriness to play the rebellious side of Savita Bhabhi.
2. Bipasha Basu: Imagine a dusky, sexy Bhabhi like Bipasha Basu who can burn the beedi and the bed. That's Bipasha with smoldering sensuality. How about the deliciously sexy Bipasha Basu as the savita bhabhi?
3.Celina Jaitley: Celina Jaitley can play the sophisticated savita bhabhi with a naughty twinkle in her eye. Anyone for Celina Jaitley as savita bhabhi?
4.Vidya Balan: Vidya Balan's voluptuous figure and sexy eyes fit the bill as Savita Bhabhi. But we certainly dont want the hot Vidya-savita bhabhi turning into Monjolika when she gets hot. But no one as the sexy, middle-class, warm appeal as Vidya Balan to play Savita Bhabhi.
5.Kareena Kapoor: Kareena Kapoor will be the thinnest, sleek version of Savita Bhabhi, so much that most women in the locality will be jealous of her. Kareena Kapoor as Savita Bhabhi is difficult to imagine but this versatile actress has always proved everyone wrong with her versatility.
6. Amrita Arora: Amrita Arora will be the dumbest savita bhabhi you will ever see. You may see her hot bod as a Savita brand but then you will have to contend with just three expressions.
7. Rani Mukerjee: Many can see Rani Mukherjee as savita bhabhi because of her earthy looks, her bhabhi type appeal with a certain amount of maturity, her husky voice and that deadly combination of sexy eyes and voluptuous figure.
8. Priyanka Chopra: Many guys will be squirming in the seat with the idea of Priyanka Chopra as savita bhabhi..Aah..those lips. Anyone can feel like doing Dostana with Savita Bhabhi if she is played by Priyanka Chopra
9. Shilpa Shetty: The leggy lass has always looked stunning best in a saree. Shilpa Shetty is hot, alluring and tall as Savita Bhabhi. Plus Shilpa Shetty also matches Savita Bhabhi's age which is fictitiously in her mid-30s
10. Madhuri Dixit: Imagine Madhuri Dixit back with a bang as Savita Bhabhi. Madhuri can play Savita Bhabhi with a touch of class and naughtiness. And that round, teasing bottom of Madhuri Dixit we have seen in so many movies is a trademark Savita Bhabhi feature. So no problem, there.
11. Kangana Ranaut: Kangana Ranaut as Savita Bhabhi. Well, that would be fun and so creatively imaginative. You can imagine Kangana Ranaut's Savita Bhabhi character to fight with you, drunk and speaking in a drawl as she gets intoxicated, apart from the usual things. Nasheeli and rebellious Savita Bhabhi, that's Kangana for you. And we think Kangana will walk away with the award. We have so much faith in her.
12. Sherlyn Chopra: Sherlya Chopra as savita Bhabhi. Well, forget it, Sherlyn is way more open-minded than Savita Bhabhi. And forget about saree, it is difficult to imagine Sherlyn with clothes.

It was rumored that Aamir Khan was playing the cameo role in Dhobi Ghat but then he said he kept the length of role under wraps because his wife Kiran didn't want to attract unnecessary attention to her directorial debut. As Aamir puts on his blog, "she wanted to make this film on real locations with a tiny crew, very guerrilla style. So we had to do it very quietly. And for once we managed to keep a secret from the media, at least until we finished the shoot."
Aamir Khan has also finished shooting for 3 Idiots, the movie directed by Raj Kumar Hirani based on the Chetan Bhagat bestseller Five Point Someone. Aamir writes that the film is at is post production stage and only one song is remaining to be shot, which will be done in September.

The most vulgar movies and dialogues of Bollywood
1:20 PM
starwin

Bollywood had some real cheap dialogues and crude stuff in their movies intermittently, especially in the mid-90s. The movie Kambakkht Ishq was in trouble with censors for crude and vulgar language which has been reportedly edited out. So here are the list of A-grade Bollywood movies with vulgar and double meaning dialogues that can make you squirm while watching with your parents or children
1. Kambakkht Ishq: Kambakkht Ishq reportedly had words like 'hard on' mouthed by Boman Irani which was changed to 'turn on'. There is a popular sms line 'women are sex objects before marriage and after marriage, they object to sex'. But then the lines in Kambakkht Ishq are not even half as vulgar as the ones below. Read on:
2. Bhram: There is difference between frank and perverse which the writer Radhika Anand did not seem to get in Bhram (2007). Though the dialogues ares made to sound realistic and in your face, most of them appear to be forced and attention seeking. There are numerous references to blowj*bs and the f-word. Some of the dialogues like “do you like your eggs fried or fertilized?”in the movie are unoriginal. One of the woman characters says to a taxi wala "what do you have the taxi for? To sit and shag"? Dino Morea teases his bhabhi Simone Singh in the film saying "Men just want ass" pointing to her butt. God knows how Bhram passed the censor wrath!
3.Oops: In this Deepak Tijori film released in 2003, Mink teases a guy saying "Do I give you a hard on"? See the movie to believe it. Or will you? See Oops and say Oops, why did I watch it?
4. Bulandi: Bulandi a film released in 2000, starring Raveena Tandon and Anil Kapoor, had Sadashiv Amrapurkar saying 'Maa ke pooth'. It is obvious what it rhymes for.
5.Andaz: Andaz(1994) takes the cake when it comes to vulgar fest at its best or worst. There were suggestive gestures, pelvic thrusts and yes two really outrageous songs "Khada Hain Khada Hain" and "Main Maal Ghaadi, Tu Dhakka Laga" The line "Main Maal Ghaadi Tu Dhakka Laga" was conveniently changed to "Main Maal Ghaadi Tu Dhakka Laga" Andaz starred Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Karisma Kapooor.
6.Kya Kool Hain Kum(2005): Kya Kool Hain Hum was shocking with suggestive lines like "neeche popat khada hain". The movie had a lot of suggestive scenes but stil Kya Kool Hain Hum delivered when it came to enterainment.
7. Neal and Nikki(2005): Tanisha starred with Uday Chopra in this excuse of a cool movie that was full to the brim with vulgar lines and snide remarks. Obvious references to breast size and words like 'asshole' were used just to get high on the 'cool' factor.
