2010 should be a promising year for Bollywood with some great films lined up. Though 2009 was a damp squib and we didn't see many actors like Mallika Sherawat, Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan and Shahrukh Khan, we will see almost all of them this time.
By a fair analysis, Bollywood Trends feel that Guzaarish, Kites, Action Replay, Houseful, Raavan, Love 1800 will be among the big Bollywood hits of 2010. But since this post is about actors, lets predict their status right away
2010 will be the year of great, awesome performance, where one will play an autistic patient (Shahrukh Khan), the other a paraplegic(Hrithik Roshan), yet another an intelligent Maths professor(Amitabh Bachchan in Teen Batti), someone a politician(Katrina Kaif in Raajneeti), another playing Sabrina Lal(Vidya Balan in No One Killed Jessica Lal) and yet another a dream role of a man growing to a little baby (Akshay Kumar in Action Replay)
Bollywood Best Actress Prediction 2010: Clearly 2010 will belong to Hrithik Roshan. This is one actor who has won an award every time has been nominated. The rate at which Hrithik Roshan is working hard for Guzaarish(directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali) has made it a hot property; he is giving his all for the role of a paraplegic. So, it should be interesting. Hrithik Roshan will also have the seductive Kites coming up which should be impressive with a brilliant director like Anurag Basu(Life in a Metro, Murder and Gangster) at the helm. 2008 belonged to Akshay Kumar who gave back to back hits, 2009 belonged to Ranbir Kapoor and 2010 should be Hrithik Roshan's best year so far
Expect a great performance by Shahrukh Khan in My Name is Khan who plays an autistic patient
Farhan Akhar reportedly went to self-imposed solitary confinement to get into the head of the character of Karthik in Karthik Calling Karthik. Apart from these three, we have the following actors who we predict will score very well in 2010:
Akshay Kumar has two films in 2010, Houseful directed by Sajid Khan and Action Replay(a performance oriented film) by Vipul Shah.
Ranbir Kapoor will act opposite Katrina Kaif in Raajneeti and will be seen opposite Priyanka Chopra in Anjaani Anjaani.
Amitabh Bachchan has two interesting roles as a media baron in Rann and that of a Maths professor in Teen Batti.
Salman Khan has reportedly worked very hard for Veer, so let's see how it shapes up.
Abhay Deol will be seen opposite Sonam Kapoor in Aisha and John Abraham will be opposite Palkhi in Love 1800.
Abhishek Bachchan has Raavaan and Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se in 2010.
Ajay Devgan will also have a fabulous 2010 with his presence in Golmaal 3, Athiti Tum Kab Jaoge, Tunpur ka Superhero and Raajneeti.
Saif Ali Khan has Agent Vinod (directed by Sriram Raghavan) and Race 2 coming up.
Imran Khan has 'I Hate Luv Storys' and Delly Belly coming up.
But what about Aamir Khan? What is he doing? Well, he should have a special appearance in Dhobighaat directed by his wife Kiran Rao.
Bollywood Best Actress Prediction 2010: Clearly 2010 should belong to Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya Rai is going to have a rocking 2010. Her movie Raavana, directed by none other than Mani Rathnam should do good. If that is not all, she will be ending the year with a bang to by appearing in Guzaarish opposite Hrithik Roshan, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In between, Aishwarya Rai will be starring opposite Akshay Kumar who has more or less an author backed role in Action Replay.
Katrina Kaif will possibly give her career-best performance in Raajneeti directed by Prakash Jha. Kareena Kapoor will be seen in Race 2.
Vidya Balan has three movies to release by 2010 where she will possibly give her best: Ishqiya, Chenab Gandhi and No One Killed Jessica Lal.
Deepika Padukone will have a busy 2010 with some good movies in the form of Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Say, Karthik Calling Karthik and Houseful.
Kangana Ranaut should have the best year in 2010, in the form of Knockout, Kites and No Problem.
Sonam Kapoor's Bollywood projects for 2010 include Aisha and I Hate Luv Storys.
Genelia D' Souza will be in Chance Pe Dance, Hook Ya Crook and It's My Life which is a remake of her biggest South hit Bommarillu.
Priyanka Chopra has two films Pyaar Impossible and Anjaani Anjaani.
Last of all, Mallika Sherawat will be seen in the experimental movie Hissss, where she plays a half snake.

According to me 2010 is neither of Hrithik Roshan nor of Shahrukh Khan although I am one of the biggest fans of SRK and Hrithik Roshan. In my opinion Best Actor of this year is surely "Ajay Devgan" because he is the one who rocked box office successfully this year opening with his small budget but good profitable film "Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge", then sharing screen with "Manoj Bajpai" in "Raajneeti" (Ranbir wasn't superb in that movie, someone who was leading the movie right was Manoj Bajpai), after that, his most incredible performance with "Emraan Hashmi" in "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai" which was again a Blockbuster after "Raajneeti" and then his most awaited film "Golmaal 3" which again rocked the box office and become second highest grossing film of the year after "Dabanng", though his "Aakrosh" was not so successful in earning but his performance again earned him praises n praises. Then if talk about the another great actor of this year, then it is all the way "Dabanng - Salman Khan", it was only "Salman" who made "Dabanng" a Super hit movie otherwise there was nothing in that film which could be praised, this is all "Salman Khan's" star power which made "Dabanng" a super successful or most successful movie of this year. Next should be no doubt "Hrithik Roshan" for his excellent performance in "Guzaarish" and then something for in "Kites". At the beginning King Khan was again on the top with his outstanding performance in MNIK but conditions didn't take him down, condition took other actors upward, so he is fourth. And at fifth position who it may be ?????
A "Tees Maar Khan" whose "Khatta Meetha" and "Action Replayy" was not "HouseFull" but he still rules on the heart of everyone, whether his "Khatta Meetha" and "Action Replayy" were not so successful as they were considered for but "Akshay" acted as like as we considered, but according to the role he played I anticipates that he must be on the position five, and for his fifth position there is no one to challenge him not "Farhan Akhtar" for "Karthik Calling Karthik" (He acted good, but he can't compete "Akshay")
So, this year's 5 superstars according to me are
1) Ajay Devgan
2) Salman Khan
3) Hrithik Roshan
4) Shahrukh Khan
5) Akshay Kumar
Best Actress for this year I Predicts all the way super hit husband's super hit wife "Kajol" for her masterstroke in "My Name Is Khan" and then in "We Are Family", she has not any strong opponent except "Aishwarya Rai Bachchan" for her fantastic performance in "Raavan" and then mind blowing performance in "Guzaarish". The role "Katrina Kaif" played in "Raajneeti" was not as effective as it had to be, so I think she shouldn't be awarded as a best actress this year. Then talking about next I guess "Kangana Ranaut", who is awesome this year, she performed really very very good in "Kites" as compared to that not so beautiful and not so talented actress "Barbara Morie", and what to talk about "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai", I have not any word to praise "Kangana" for her performance in that movie, then again she acted well in "Knock Out" and "No Problem", so I think she is the third female superstar of this year, then most eligible for fourth position is "Deepika Padukone" for her great performance in "Lafangey Parindey" then in "Karthik Calling Karthik" then in "Break Ke Baad" and then in "HouseFull", (Its better to not to talk about "Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Say" ). Finally at fifth position I guess its "Katrina Kaif" for his good acting in "Raajneeti" and then in her upcoming movie "Tees Maar Khan", it seem from the promos that she really worked good in "Tees Maar Khan" as compared to "Raajneeti".
So my list of female superstar this year is -
1) Kajol
2) Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
3) Kangana Ranaut
4) Deepika Padukone
5) Katrina Kaif
Thats it !!!
i am sure that kajol will pick the filmfare without any doubt we will see
