Shabbir Ahluwalia Khatron Ke Khiladi

Rumors that were flying thick and fast about Shabbir Ahluwalia being the Khatron Ke Khiladi for 2010 proved to be true. Underwater stunts, enduring creepy crawlies, riding on a mad bull, jumping off dangerous heights and taking a car under a huge truck (final stunt): Shabbir and his partner braved them all to emerge winners of Khatron Ke Khiladi 2010.

In the final episode, there were two stunts with four finalists. Two of them Dino Morea and Milind Soman were eliminated in the first stunt, which involved them being under a super-fast 55 km per hour train, who were to walk atop the train and put those flags at relevant places. The finalists in the end were squash champ Rithwik Bhattacharya and the Kahiin Toh Hoga serial star, Shabbir. Fondly nicknamed ‘Shabbo Rani’ in the show, Shabbir defeated Ritwick in the final staunt which involved taking their cars under a long truck, coming back and then completing the rotation again. Shabbir, 31, believes that fear is a just a state of mind.

"When I came on board, I thought that during the course of it I'll find out what I'm scared of because I always thought that I'm only scared of God. But instead of that, I got to know that fear is nothing. It's just how you condition your mind. When you know that you have to do a particular stunt and you have to do it well, your entire focus is on that fact and then you forget where you are, what height, what conditions etc.”

Khatron Ke Khiladi(India’s Fear Factor), hosted by B-town actress Priyanka Chopra and shot in Brazil, started with 13 male celebrities. Names like Rahul Bose, Rahul Dev, Abhishek Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Manjot Singh, Cyrus Broacha, Karan Singh Grover, Armaan Ebrahim, Terence Lewis has been a huge hit.Congrats to Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sushma aka Krrishika Gupta

Bollywood’s Superstar performances

Let us look at Bollywood movies that have run 90 percent, on the basis of main lead’s performance. Here are some Bollywood films that have become huge super-hits highly because of the actor’s sweeping performance.

Baazigar (1993): Baazigar was an out and out Shah Rukh Khan film; there was Abbas Mustan of course directing the movie; there was Kajol coming out on her own; and the movie had its thrills but: everyone who saw it said Shah Rukh Khan single handedly lifted the film to its cult status by his sheer adrenalin gushing performance

Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai(2000): There was cinematic revolution when Hrithik Roshan stormed in Bollywood with an all-in-one package in Kaho Na ..Pyaar Hain. Girls loved him, boys wanted to be like him and children adored him; they all still do but the hysteria is not so much as it was for Kaho Na..Pyaar Hain. There are many 10 year old boys now, who are called Hrithik. Why?? Beause many of them were named ‘Hrithik’ after the actor became a house-hold name ten years ago.

Ghajini (2008): Ghajini was an Aamir Khan film all the way, he had a dual role to play: of a successful businessman as well as that of a mentally challenged person; he did both the roles with elan. He packaged himself well and the movie was a huge incentive for an Aamir Khan fan, which is almost 90 percent of the country.

Dabangg (2010): Dabangg is a superhit; and many critics and people agree that whenever Salman Khan is not in the frame, the movie is duh!! But whenever he is in the frame, the movie becomes wow! That is Salman Khan’s star power in Dabangg.

Salman Khan, Maine Pyaar Kiya to Dabangg and many more

Salman Khan is the senior-most of the superstar Khans and getting better with time. Salman, born Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan has been a superstar all the way, from Maine Pyar Kiya(1989) to Dabangg(2010). He has been in Bollywood since 22 years, and has been maintaining his super-fit body ever since he built it for a flop film Jaagruti(1992). Not only is Salman Khan, Bollywood’s Rajnikanth; his amazing sense of humor, his public friendly comments, his moodiness and his ability to speak his mind, and most of all his generosity; has made him the superstar beyond Bollywood.

Salman Khan is the Khan with maximum mega-blockbusters that have created box office history; they include Maine Pyar Kiya(1989), Hum Aapke Hain Koun(1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Wanted (2009) and Dabangg(2010). Dabangg has beaten 3 Idiots, with the ten day collection , crossing Rs. 110 crores. Salman Khan’s other super-hits include Saajan(1992), Biwi No. 1(1999), Tere Naam (2003), No Entry (2005), Partner(2007). Biwi No.1 and No Entry were the biggest hits of the respective years.

Despite these big hits, Salman Khan is also the actor with maximum flops among mainstream actors. After the hit of Saajan, Salman Khan kept on giving flops; Suryavanshi, Jaagruti, Ek Ladka Ek Ladki, Chandra Mukhi, Dil Tera Aashiq, Andaz Apna Apna(it became a big hit on video, many years later); and finally bounced back with Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Karan Arjun in 1994-95. In 1996, Sallu was in top form with Khamoshi and Judwaa, while the first one was flop, the second one was a hit. In 1997, Salman Khan had an average year in the form of two semi-hits, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (remember Oh, Oh Jaane Jana?) and Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai. In 1999, Sallu gave the year’s biggest hit: Biwi No. 1 and the second biggest hit, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

From 2000 to 2002, Salman Khan’s career again went-down hill with many flops like Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Chal Mere Bhai, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Yeh Hain Jalwa. On 2002, Salman Khan created a mini-revolution with Tere Naam. His hairstyle that was sniggered by the city’s hair stylists became a fashion-statement for the average collegian and roadside romeos. Though Salman Khan always tries to be himself in most of his films, and people do not particularly regard him as a smashing actor, he was noticed for his emotional prowess in Tere Naam. After a lackluster 2004 with just one average, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Sallu bounced back in form with a trend-setting comedy, No Entry (2005). It is believed that Salman did this film free of cost and even used his star power to release the film, when the movie was being given a cold-shoulder by distributors.

2006 was a flop year, 2007 too were flops for Killer Khan with just one saving grace, a big hit in the form of Partner. 2008 was again a bad year for Salman with flop films like God Tussi Great Ho, Hello, Heroes and Yuvvraaj. In 2009, Sallu Khan reinvented himself as a no-nonsense action hero in Wanted, a big hit, second only to 3 Idiots. In 2010, Salman Khan took a bow with a money-spinner, Dabangg. Looks like a full circle for Salman Khan from a romantic hero in Maine Pyar Kiya to an action hero in Dabangg

Salman Khan as action hero or romantic hero

Salman Khan taught us romance first (Maine Pyar Kiya) in early 1989 before Aamir Khan taught us to die in love in Qayamat se Qayamat Tak and Shah Rukh Khan taught us to live in love, DDLJ. Sallu seems to be the last action hero, he is now going the area which Sunil Shetty , Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan tried in the 1990s. So which role do you like more for Salman Khan: romantic roles or action roles? Do comment and let us know what kind of films should Salman Khan do?

Salman Khan Number One Bollywood Actor?

With Dabangg’s superhit status, Salman Khan may well be Number 1 Bollywood actor now. In the school children type competition between Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar it looks like a 4th ranker has come 1st in the class. Of course, all of them say ‘Number One’ positions do not matter to them, but they do to a lot of Bollywood fans, and which Bollywood actor secretly does not relish the number one status?

Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan has the best marketing brains and they are very well versed in using their marketing machinery and people skills in creating the right promotional resonance for their films. Salman Khan on the other hand, has been pretty chilled out to the extent of being callous, but with two block-busters, Wanted in 2009 and Dabangg in 2010, he is taking himself seriously. It seems that Sallu has hired a marketing agency who will be doing the PR for him and positioning him better as a brand. Brand Salman Khan is here folks!!

Salman Khan Clarifies 26/11 Terror Attacks Controversy video

Salman Khan is in the middle of controversy for his remarks on 26/11 terror attacks episode. He does not have time to bask in the success of the movie because his remark that 26/11 attacks were overhyped because only elite people were killed, found stiff opposition in various quarters.

On the behalf of Salman Khan Foundation’s Being Human community on Facebook, Salim Khan, the father of Salman Khan said, ''Media Should not Hype so much on any Issue '' . If People are Hurt by Salman's Statement he will Apologize"

Salman, 44, invited flak with his comments to a Pakistani TV channel: "Too much hype has been created around the 26/11 attacks because elite people were targetted. Attacks have happened in trains and small towns too, but no one talked about it so much."

"Everybody took this up because the Taj and Oberoi hotels were involved. The attacks happened because our security failed," he told the Pakistan Express channel.

He also said: "Everybody knows that the Pakistani government was not behind it and it was a terrorist attack. Our security had failed. We have had lot of attacks earlier, and all of them were not from Pakistan. They were from within."

Not only the Shivsena but also the chief minister of Maharashtra express their anger on Salman Khan's stand on 26/11.

"I don't know what Salman Khan has said but Kasab's arrest and court's verdict have made it clear that Pakistan's hand was there in the conspiracy, in the attack against India. Once the verdict is given by the court, there is no room for anyone's opinion."

He added, "The attack was not only on Taj and Oberoi but also on CST where the not so rich were also killed. Irrespective of one's financial status, terrorist attacks are always horrendous. We should all stand up against terrorism," Chavan said.

Salman Khan also tweeted a link to Youtube where he clarifies his stand. He said, ‘TV is making it insensitive. Terrorism has no religion, no faith and no guts.” He said that he did not mean to hurt anyone’s sentiments. But Salman Khan tweeted saying that henceforth he would record all interviews to prevent such controversies.

Rohit Shetty; among the best bollywood directors

Rohit Shetty is easily among the top 3 Bollywood directors. He just knows the pulse of audience and his comedy gets better with every film. Here is why Rohit Shetty is the best Bollywood director now, apart from Raju Hirani:

1. Rohit Shetty's movies are a visual treat. Be it All the Best or Golmaal series, you just love the entry of every actor or actress in the opening credit; and the trademark lines in his films. Remember 'Mayayo' in Golmaal, 'I don't care a Bhakra-Nangal Dam' in All the Best and now Kareena Kapoor's dog 'Facebook' in Golmaal 3.

2. . His films complete on record time; his movies are a start to finish project. Golmaal 3's shooting started on March 20, 2010 and is due for a smooth release on November 5 2010.

3. Consistency: Rohit Shetty gives back to back hits consistently and quickly. Every Diwali he has come up with a big hit. Golmaal-2006, Golmaal Returns-2008, All the Best-2009.

4. The choice of colors in his films: Rohit likes to experiment with vivid colors and makes his movies spectacular even if the film is purely laced with comedy.

5. No foreign trips needed, Goa is the place to Go: Rohit Shetty's always manages to show Goa attractive in almost every movie. No expensive out of India shoots, he'd rather invest his money wisely in good comic and jaw dropping action scenes in India.

Salman Khan, Bollywood’s Rajnikanth

Salman Khan can well be called Bollywood’s Rajnikanth. As we know, the South Indian superstar does not even need to promote his films; his fans do it for him. The makers of Rajnikanth movies are careful not to show important parts in the first fifteen minutes, because for the first fifteen minutes you hear nothing but claps, whistles and howls. You cannot imagine any Bollywood star getting anywhere close to Rajnikanth; Salman Khan however comes close to an exception.

Salman's big hit Dabangg is drawing the Rajnikanth fervor, with his fans loving every moment of the movie, the whistles coming in right from the start of the film. The fact that Sallu has a smashing entry and crowd-wowing scenes in the film, is an added bonus.

Only Salman Khan can carry off the swagger, the style, the care-a-damn demeanor and come up with a silly style sense like sunglasses on his back and yet find a sea of supporters. If you notice that in Salman Khan movies, you do not see the characters like you see in an Aamir film (Munna, Bhuvan, Akash, Rancho); in Sallu movies, you just see Salman Khan and that is what is his fans love.

Dabangg Movie Review: Dabangg, Salman Khan's Best Ever

Dabangg, the latest Salman Khan offering is just what the public wanted-total Dhamaal and entertainment. The movie may not have much to offer on substance, but when there is ‘substantial’ star power of Salman Khan, everything else can rest. With a Rajnikanth-like clout, Salman Khan supersedes every expectation, confirming why he is the best crowd-puller today.

Story of Dabangg; Chulbul Pandey(aka Robin Hood Pandey) is a fearless, corrupt cop who has no qualms about rubbing wrong people the wrong way, battering the bad guys and helping out the poor guys. He has a step brother Arbaaz Khan and stepfather Vinod Khanna, whom he hates from the bottom of his heart. Chulbul also invites the ire of Cheddi Singh,(Sonu Sood) a local politician who is baying for blood and tries different ways to get him, in vain. Somewhere down the line, we also have Chulbul Pandey romancing Rajjo(Sonakshi Sinha) in his own inimitable manner. And the guy goes again bashing the blues out of the villains. So by now, you must have guessed, the story is not nothing much to talk about about but yes, there is lotsa’ style; lotsa’ attitude and lotsa’ punch. Dabangg seems to have left from where Wanted left off and creates magic.
Plus points of Dabangg:
• Salman Khan, Salman Khan, Salman Khan. If he is not in the screen, you feel there is something wrong in the film.
• The superb punch-lines, the mind-boggling action scenes; the movie is made brilliantly to catch the eyeballs in multiplexes as well. Sallu was the king of single screen theaters; this one makes an impact on multiplexes as well.
• Malaika Arora’s funky masala number “Munni Badnam Hui’ This is sexy and funny at the same time, just cannot be missed.
• Quick editing; scenes move briskly and there is no one boring moment.

Performances in Dabangg:
The reason why this movie works is that Salman Khan’s character is an extension of his real life persona-fun-filled, unpredictable, aggressive, direct and generous. So apart from the magic of the Smashing Khan, new comer Sonakshi also does a good job. She is pleasantly plump, a far cry from those wafer thin heroines. Sonu Sood is another man to watch out. With a well-toned near perfect physique, he almost overshadows Salman with his muscular presence. But as Salman said, his role didn’t demand him to be too muscular because a corrupt cop does not really have a good physique. The other actors do just as well; but they seem happy to Salman take the lead

Conclusion: Dabanng is a mast watch.
Rating:****(Very Good)

A R Rahman Losing His Touch?

Of late, post Slumdog Millionaire Oscar and Grammy Glory, A R Rahman is losing his magical musical touch, according to music lovers. Rahman's latest Common Wealth Anthem is only loved by hard-core Rahman fans, while others felt that he was not up to his mark. Here are few of other musical compositions by A R Rahman that has not met with a super response.

  • • Robot - Hit in south, crashing elsewhere
  • • Raavan - Not so good
  • • Blue - Except for Fikrana, none of the songs were good.
  • • Slumdog Millionaire - Global phenomenon but Indians wonder what is so great in it?
  • • Delhi 6 - For the classes only
  •  Sivaji - Fans rejoiced but nothing beyond that.
  •  Yuvraaj:  Tu Hi Mera Dost is one of Rahman's best songs ever, but the rest of the album was mediocre.
To sum it up, Rahman is crowning international glory but Bollywood is not so happy with him. Post Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na(2008), a lot of people feel that Rahman is not up to his best. Ghajini that folllowed Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na had two good songs, "Kaise Mujhe" and "Guzaarish"

There is news that Rahman is buying a five-acre plot in Los Angeles to set up his production facility with sound engineer Resul Pookutty. He is also accused of not concentrating totally in Bollywood projects and delaying them. Rahman's artistic ways: working in Chennai only, doing work only at night, doing work according to his standards only has made some producers in Bollywood distance away from him, particularly when he does not deliver his best.

Though some people think Rahman's best is behind him, there are many who think Rahman has still lots of amazing music left in him. “There is a divine energy there,” says filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who has shared an emotional bond with the composer since his Shikhar days. “It is not your usual sharaab-kebab kind of atmosphere that you encounter in most Mumbai studios.” Ghajini-producer Madhu Mantena, who has worked closely with Rahman since Rangeela, too says watching the maestro in his studio is like entering a very sacred space. Rahman continues to remain inaccessible and after Hollywood successes, this has become increasingly so.

“If you are a newbie,” says a producer who has met the maestro and is still waiting for his verdict on his proposal. “You have to make at least 10 trips to his studio to discuss your project with him. Unlike other music composers, money is no criteria for him. There is no saying why or when he will pick one project over the other,” the producer adds. Another ad-based film maker says that it can be quite tough to get his time and permission because he is not in India most of the time.

Mantena who made Ghajini is always thankful to Rahman. He says that Rahman has worked with new comers also including Abbas Tyrewala. This many feel is because of Rahman's Aamir Khan connection.“Besides, he is so dedicated to his work that each song probably goes through more changes than the script itself,” Mantena reveals, agreeing with other insiders like Ram Gopal Varma. “No matter how pressured he is, Rahman will never let a tune pass until he is happy about it.”

It can also be said that Rahman does not hurry his projects, it is more of Bollywood producers being in such great hurry.Mantena denies the maestro kept him waiting for months for the title track for his latest, Jhootha Hi Sahi. “There are nine songs and the time taken was the same as any other album,” the producer says.
However, there are reports that the Commonwealth Games theme took six months, and then it was back to the drawing board after the organising committee wanted Rahman to make changes.

Subhash Ghai, says that Rahman has a concentration problem. "While working with him on Yuvvraaj, I realised he was probably having trouble
focusing“. “When Rahman was working for Taal,” says Ghai, “he was completely immersed in the craft of composing. But while working with him on Yuvvraaj, I realised he was probably having trouble focusing with so much on his plate these days. You cannot blame him. He is an explorer who is hungry for more and wants to discover new sounds and new techniques. You have to allow him to grow. May be there are not enough challenges for him here. A film critic says, "Rahman still still has the mass with him. However, Rahman has not been showing his best elements on his recent works,” he adds.

“You cannot judge Rahman on the basis of one song,” says sitar maestro Pandit Kartick Kumar, who worked with the Oscar winner in the Jana Gana Mana project. “People have been comparing that tune to what Rahman has created. It is not fair to compare a classic with a more contemporary track,” Pandit Kumar adds “But, yes, maybe Rahman should not have sung the song himself. Just because his Vande Mataram clicked, does not mean he can bring the same energy to every song he lends his voice to,” adds Kumar. The veteran sitar exponent puts it down to an unfortunate error of judgement by an otherwise superlative production designer and musician.

Rahman fans and loyalists belive that Rahman is still the god of Indian film music. His music is not like fast food but a nutritious, gourment cuisine. Ram Gopal Varma says even Rangeela's music looked (or rather felt) bad in the beginning. He wrote in his blog‘...the compositions he came up with used to surprise me, though not always pleasantly. That is because his tunes were so original in his interpretation of the emotion of a situation that a conventional ear will take time to let it sink in.’Mantena too believes Rahman’s style is so ‘different’ that it shocks you the first time.

Sagar Desai, music director of Quickgun Murugan-fame, has an explanation: “May be Rahman does not feel obliged to make tunes that appeal to the humble rickshawwallah anymore, but is more interested in staying true to his artistic core, no matter what the consequences.”

At the same time, Rahman gets the respect that none of the musicians in India have got when they worked with other arrogant music directors.

“What makes him stand apart from the others is his ability to understand a musician and his comfort zone,” says Neil Mukherjee, who has played guitar for Rahman over seven years on several projects. “He will never make you feel uncomfortable.” And this quality of empathy, feels Mukherjee, is also tied to the maestro’s strong spiritual leanings.

Rahman's policy of asking a share of the movie's profits apart from his hefty fee has also made many producer distance away. This is the reason why Farah Khan decided to take a cheaper Vishal-Shekhar team than go overbudget with Rahman.
. “Any change is frowned at,” he said then, “I am standing up for what I think is right.”

Bollywood Trends feel that Rahman is still capable of making original music. Since his compositions are unorthodox and ground-breaking, they sound over the top or un-musical at the beginning. But slowly it begins to sink in and you hear the rewind button of your iPod again. Rahman is also the most tech savvy of music directors familiar with what is happening around in the world, in music right now. He directly uploaded his song in soundcloud.com and asked for feedback in Facebook which was sweet. But many still judge his tunes with the first impression. Who would have loooked 'Hai Ramma' of Rangeela in the first listen? Today's people do not have much patience, which is why he should make some instant-friendly tunes also along with his classy stuff. How about Roja or Dil Se style masterpieces?

Give your comments about whether Rahman is losing his touch in Bollywood?

Bollywood Casting Couch, Sleeping for Roles in Bollywood

Bollywood's casting couch stories have been doing the rounds for quite some time. Some times, these allegations do reach the media. For instance, recently, Isha Koppikar or Eesha Koppikar said that a top Bollywood actor had asked her to sleep with him during the early stages of her career. She refused the offer and went to South to do films. When asked who the top actor was, Isha said that she can't tell because it can spoil a lot of families.

Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, known for her role in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa wrote in her blog that she was also a victim of casting couch in Bollywood.  "I remember many years ago, I had gone to meet a very successful producer about a film role at a plush suburban hotel. They were looking for a new face to launch,'' the actor wrote.
After a discussion about academics, family and work experience, the producer asked Suchitra to call her father to tell him that she was spending the night with him at the hotel and that he should pick her up in the morning, the actor said in her blog.

Rupa Ganguly, known for her role in Mahabharata admitted in the popular show Sach Ka Saamna that she was a victim of casting couch in Indian cinema.Rupa Ganguly said that she was asked for unmentionable favors in returns for roles. She was asked for her ‘day rates’ and ‘night rates,’ which she said, were very disgusting. The worst insult she said was when she had received a call on her landline, which said that someone had paid Rs.50000 for a night with her. This was when Rupa had decided to leave Mumbai for good, and settle for Kolkata. Read more about Rupa Ganguly's shocking revelations of casting couch in Bollywood

We already know about the small time actress Preeti Jain accusing Madhur Bandarkar of rape, while Shakti Kapoor and Aman Verma were caught propositioning women on camera (it was a sting operation where these 'models' who were in the rooms with them were reporters). Shakti Kapoor went on to say that Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta were involved.

Casting couch is not just female oriented, Sonu Nigam accused a top notch web journalist of asking him for  compromising. And when the singer didn't do that, he criticized him a lot in his content. Actor Priyanshu also says that he was a victim of casting couch too. He said, "I was asked to compromise in bed by this man who promised me a film in return. But I didn't believe him, and was right in doing so, since the film wasn't made.

Rupa Ganguly says casting couch is not so common today as it was in a decade ago. What do you think? Do you think casting couch still happens in Bollywood? Is it restricted to small budget films or does sleeping around for roles happen in big budget films? Readers can post their views and opinions about Bollywood casting couch, without using the names of actress and actors if you want.

Akshay Kumar More Popular than Ajay Devgan

We asked who is better, Ajay Devgan or Akshay Kumar
to the junta. Let's see what we've got.

Ajay Devgan is getting what Akshay Kumar got in 2008-Back to Back Hits. Ajay Devgan has been hitting bull's eye with hits like Athiti Tum Kab Jaoge, Raajneeti and Once Upon a  Time in Mumbai and his Golmaal 3 looks a hit property anyway.

His contemporary Akshay Kumar too is having a rocking year 2010, coming out of the bad patch with two hits Housefull and Khatta Meetha. Bollywood Trends readers have voted as Akshay Kumar better than Ajay Devgan. This is nothing to do with their talent because of them have their strong points; just said that Akki's comedy and screen presence is more endearing. Hope Devgan's Golmaal 3 will change that perception.

Check out Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar together in the 1994 hit Suhaag. This was one of the rare scenes where Akshay Kumar tried his hand on comedy before Hera Pheri changed his luck.

Katrina Kaif Midriff Belly Exposure in Tees Maar Khan

We all know Katrina Kaif has the sexiest body in Bollywood
But for those who want to see the tantalizing midriff of Katrina Kaif get any eye-full in Tees Maar Khan,a Farah Khan movie. The gorgeous actress will be displaying her flat belly, all the way to the hipline for the 'Chumma Chumma song' that was once an iconic song picturized on Kimi Katkar and Big B, for the movie Hum in 1990.

Katrina, who hasn't seen the original, fails to understand the fuss. Very matter-of-factly she says, "I'm playing an item girl. And all the songs in the film have a variety of elements. One of the stanzas has this jhumma chumma de de bit and, God, I didn't realise the magic of the song till we actually shot for it. The atmosphere was crackling with excitement; I had men jumping all around me with beer mugs in their hand."

Of course, Kat had to make tremendous sacrifices to get that kind of a belly. Says she, "I haven't worked harder on my body than I have for this song. When Farah told me that I had to expose my full stomach, provocatively, right down to the hip line, I knew that I had to have the best body in the business."

Katrina Kaif wants to keep that kind of abs for herself in future."I believe that the midriff is one of the most sensual parts of a woman's anatomy but I will not expose my stomach for any of my films, at least not for a long time after TMK." Farah is happy that she won Kat's trust. Says she, "I'm glad Katrina has decided not to expose her belly-button for a long time to come. Guess this will also become the highlight of my film."

Salman Khan makes fun of Himesh

Outspoken Salman Khan was having a fun at  Himesh Reshammiya's expense.  It so happened that Bhushan Kumar, the producer of the forthcoming film, Kajra Re, decided to show Salman Khan the rushes of Kajra Re that stars music director Himesh Reshammiya.  When asked for opinion, Salman Khan had a grin pasted on his face,, "Yeh tune kya kiya? HR (Himesh Reshammiya) ka chehra kisi aur ke chehre se morph kar do."

Bhushan was embarrassed big time. Evading the question, he quickly went on to discuss a few other things with Salman. "But Salman's grin never left his fae," says a source who seemed to be having a tough time stifling his chuckle.

Once upon a time good friends (Himesh used to thank Salman Khan more than his own father for giving him movies like Tere Naam), they had a fall-out. Though they were seen hugging on a TV show, it is sure that Himesh may just be singing, "Ullu banaya Apne "

Yash Raj Films for 2011: Forrmula Films Only

Yash Raj films has decided to play safe and not make experiment with new directors for quite some time. After having experienced way too many flops -Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Aaja Nachle, Laga Chunri Mein Daag and an average hit Lafangey, Yash Raj Films has decided to make 'safer' films and not hire debutant directors anymore for 2011.

Anyway, Yash Raj will be coming up with three new movies, all of them will be costly affairs. Dhoom 3 still has director Vijay Krishna Acharya who gifted Yash Raj, a super flop, Tashan. But YRF has no problems continuing with him for a reason. The director has brushed up his directorial skills by working as assistant director under Mani Ratnam in Raavan. Sanjay Gadhvi who directed Dhoom 1 and Dhoom 2 will not be doing Dhoom 3 as his three film contract with Yash Raj has ended. Sanjay's last film Kidnap (not produced by YRF) bombed badly at the box office,

Apart from Vijay Krishna Acharya directed Dhoom 3, YRF will use Kabir Khan for what is supposed to be the most expensive Yash Raj film ever. Finally, good ol' Yash Chopra, the big romantic daddy will make a love story possibly with the trump card Shahrukh Khan.  There are reports that Aamir Khan will play villain in Dhoom 3. Let's wait and watch

Shahrukh says Salman, Aamir Better Than Him

Shahrukh Khan says that he loves Salman Khan and Aamir. SRK also said Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are better than him. He said, "I have a huge amount of respect for Aamir and Salman."

"I think they're wonderful. I think they're great stars, I know them personally and they're great human beings. And they're much bigger stars than I can ever be. I hope one day I can be like them in terms of work."

But Salman Khan is not interested in Shahrukh Khan's friendship. After the heated altercation the superstars had Katrina Kaif's birthday party (the poor girl has stopped celebrating her birthday publicly ever since), the two have not been on talking terms. Sallu says, he said, "Shah Rukh and I don't talk anymore. We had misunderstanding and hence parted ways... There is no chance of Shah Rukh and Salman coming together in future".

When he was egged if he misses Shahrukh, Salman said annoyingly, ", "Shah Rukh meri girlfriend nahi thi... apni purani girlfreind ko miss nahi karta, Shah Rukh ko kya karunga (Shah Rukh was not my girlfriend... I don't miss my ex-girlfriends for that matter, why will I miss him?)

Incidentally Shahrukh khan has been blending a lot with the We Are Family Team of his buddy Karan Johar and even promoted the film at various events; even though he is not even doing a small bit in the film.
