Top 10 Best Bollywood Songs 2010

Let's check out the top 10 best Bollywood songs of 2010 according to popularity and demand by Bollywood Trends readers

10. Dil Kyun Yeh Mera(Kites): Kites may have flopped but Dil Kyun Hain Mera sung mellifluously by KK continued to hover above the film.

9. Gal Mithi Mithi (Aisha): A wonderfully picturized, foot-tapping number composed by whizkid composer Amit Trivedi for the movie Aisha found a lot of acclaim

8. Noor-E-Khuda (My Name is Khan): A soul stirring number that traversed the journey of Rizwan Khan in My Name is Khan. Composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and sung by Shankar and Shreya Goshal.

7. I am in Love (Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai): KK comes up with a feel-good romantic number for Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.

6. Mujhe Teri Panahi Miley (Crook): Emraan Hashmi and bad music are two opposites that will never meet. So, even though Crook flopped, Pritam made sure that things were all good in the music department

5.Pee Loon(Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai); Sung by Mohit Chauhan, this one touched the heart. Music composed by Pritam.

4. Chori Ke Riya Jiya(Dabangg): There is no year, where Sonu Nigam does not come with a superhit number. He did it again with one of the most touching romantic numbers of the season accompanied by the beautiful voice of Shreya Goshal, for Dabangg. Music by Sajid-Wajid.

3. Sheela Ki Jawaani(Tees Maar Khan): Sheela may have entered menopause now, due to the flopping of Tees Maar Khan, but this sizzling Sunidhi Chauhan number sung for Vishal Shekhar will always be remembered for Katrina Kaif's sexy moves and danceable beats.

2. Tere Mast Mast Do Nain: The Rahat Fateh Ali Khan-Shreya Goshal number is the second best song of 2010. A song that finds place in the mp3 player of every Bollywood music lover; this will be heard for many years to come.

1. Munni Badnaam Hui: Not just the best song of 2010, but one of the best item numbers ever in Bollywood need we ever say more. Just that Lalit Pandit were bit more honest about the fact that the song was lifted from Umar Sharif' Ladka Badnaam Hua Haseeena Tere Liye'; other than that, there are no complaints

5 Reasons why Bollywood Movies Flop: Tees Maar Khan case study

Close on the heels of how to make a successful Bollywood film, let us find out why Tees Maar Khan flopped despite all the buzz around it. This can also be interpreted to find 5 important reasons that make 90 percent of Bollywood movies flop almost every year.

1. Illogical and senseless execution Salman fighting twelve people at one go and jumping from one roof to the other courtesy special effects, in Dabangg, is definitely not realistic but people can live with it. But showing Akshaye Khanna in Tees Maar Khan as a superstar who is so scatter-brained that he does not realize that Akshay Kumar is duping him is senseless, an insult to your existence as a consumer who pays hard-earned money to watch a Bollywood movie. On top of that, you show Akshay Kumar duping the entire village with his nonsense about making a film. Come on, even people from the BC era would not fall prey to such a ludicrous proposition. Now that is being senseless, and people cannot digest it. Period.

2. Too much hype: Sheela ki Jawaani was hyped very much and it was positioned as a competitor to Munni Badnaam Hui; that worked against the movie. Having said that, on its own Sheela Ki Jawaani was well picturized but the hype did it in. When you put in so much hype, people always expect better no matter what you do.

3. Nothing to suit the title: We had so many reasons in Dabangg to find out why Salman Khan was 'Dabangg'(fearless). There was nothing much to see why Akshay Kumar was 'Tees Maar Khan'. He did nothing overwhelming or thrilling to do justice to do the title of the film.

4. Taking the audience for granted: The last scene in Tees Maar Khan has Akshay Kumar saying that there will be two releases: his movie as well as himself (he is brought handcuffed to the theater). And then he does a Houdini, all of a sudden, the handcuffed Akshay disappears and someone else is found in his place. That is the difference between Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan, the first one takes his audience for granted. How could you, Akki bhaiya?

5. Being just sexy is half the battle lost: Katrina Kaif is the sexy Sheela, but what does she do? Mouth dumb lines and look lost in the entire movie. At a time, when people are saying Katrina cannot act, she goes ahead and does a film where she plays a character who cannot act well. How dumb! Contrast that to Sonakshi Sinha’s character in Dabangg who had an understated sexiness in her with substantial role to play in a hero-dominated film. Bottom line: let the girl get a platform to show her emotive abilities rather than be a pretty moll.

What about the script? Is failure to have a good script, not a reason for Bollywood film to flop? We are not talking about good films, we are talking about hit Bollywood films and the formula that makes them money-spinners. Script, though is a good thing, may not be really essential. Read what is more important than a script for a hit Bollywood movie

How to make a hit Bollywood Film: 10 steps

Dabangg is the best example of a formula Bollywood film that can never go wrong. The Salman starrer had just about everything that comprised the ingredients of a box office superhit. So let us decode Bollywood’s second biggest blockbuster Dabangg(find out which is the biggest Bollywood blockbuster )and analyze how to make a successful Bollywood film taking into account the following factors:

1. The quintessential hero: Salman Khan was no short of Rajnikanth in Dabangg. His entry was jaw-dropping, whatever he does; he does with the demeanor of a hero. He has that swagger in his walk, is every bit as human in loving his brethren as he is superhuman in fending off the negative elements. He has his own baggage of problems but that does not stop him from being 'cool' in his own inimitable, earthy way. And yes, he romances his lady love with an easy-going charm too.

2. The action: Salman in Dabangg sends 13 people flying in different directions by hitting them where it hurts. Not possible in real life, but what the heck, the visual impact was worth it and who does not like to see objects flying when you kick them and if they suspend in the air, before crashing..even better!

3. The family man: All though seen in 45 movies before Dabangg, it still delved into the story of a son not getting along with his step-father; having issues with his brother, being close to his mother whom he loses eventually. So our guy is still very much, the family person first and has a heart in the right place.

4. The dialogues and locker-room lines: Check out these lines ‘Kamal Kartey ho Pandeyji” “Police Waleko Tokne Ka Anjaam Pata Hai Kya? 21 years jail aur thukai alag se. Aur Isi Police Walene Agar Tumhe Toka Toh Promotion Alagse Aur Bahduri Ka Medal Bhi! “Hum Tumme Itne Chedh Karenge ki confuse ho jaogey ki saans kaise le aur paadhey kahan se?’ ‘Tapad se darr nahin lagtha hain sahib, pyaar se lagtha hain’ All of theses lines and many more were aimed at the masses, but even the classes lapped it up. Why? Because the lines played to the gallery and come on even these high classes people secretly enjoy outrageous lines.

5. Catchy Item Number: A kick-ass item number that becomes the anthem of the nation, without really promoting it . Sheela Ki Jawaani was thrust on our throats, while people demanded Munni Badhnaam Hui; that is the big difference. Also Munni Badhnaam Hui was as much funny as much as it was sexy.

6. Amazing comedy: Comedy and action together can be a brilliant combination. One of the single-most factors for Dabangg to be a racy hit is action laced with comedy. Remember Salman bashing up villains and then breaking into a dance. Okay, it was a bit like Mask but we can forgive that

7. The Momentum: Dabangg had its momentum right from the beginning. From the very first scene, the movie was on the driver’s seat, going full throttle.

8. Good scenes: Okay Guzaarish also had good scenes but people will always remember Dabangg’s scenes; be it the Sonakshi-Salman scene, Salman Khan’s challenge to Sonu Sood, the entry scene or the final scene; because boss, they brought in the whistles. People often go to a movie theater with their friends or date; they don't want to cry at the hero's hopeless condition; they would rather be motivated while having fun.

9. Attitude and channelized star power: In today’s times, the movie has to get cracking immediately or it may be too late. Salman Khan’s massive star power got the audiences in but that alone was not enough. Sallu had been getting people into theaters many times, but they have shown him the middle finger and gone their way(not kidding, actually have seen people doing this for some of his crappy films). But this time, they didn’t; they clapped with glee. This was because Salman Khan’s starpower was projected in the best manner possible. This was the most RELATABLE Salman Khan movie for him as well as the audiences.

Speaking of attitude, there are some movies that have attitude while others do not. Rangeela had an attitude, 3 Idiots too; Rang De Basanti had it in loads, Swades had it and so did Tere Naam. It is not just about being stylish; in all these movies, you have characters with clear mindset; they are sure about what they want and have their own style and charisma. In Dabangg too, Salman Khan is comfortable in his own skin and takes pride in what he does. People love that. This is also ONE BIG REASON WHY RAJNIKANTH’s MOVIES rock.

10. The climax: Dabangg’s climax was an icing on the cake. It was better than the action in the beginning. The message was clear on the wall; If you loved the start, the finale will turn out even better.

Dabangg is not a brilliant movie, heck, it is not even a good movie. But yes, it is a smartly made, ENTERTAINING movie, with all elements balanced in such a way that you end up enjoying akin to the way you'd relish a seven course meal that may not be nutritious but definitely tasty. Want another helping?

Bollywood films may work without scripts

Lagaan, Chak De India, Taare Zameen Par, 3 Idiots are examples of good scripts in Bollywod films. But there have been so many Bollywood films that worked with an average or bad script. Some of the examples include Dhoom 2, Om Shanti Om, Dabangg, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani etc. How do these movies become superhits? Apart from starpower that is common to all of them, it is the treatment and screenplay that have made these Bollywood films successful endeavors.

Screenplay that is interestingly woven can make the audience forgive the script or the lack of it. For example in Dhoom 2, one of the biggest Bollywood hits ever, the plot is ridden with errors. Bipasha Basu in the first half discreetly disappears only to come in the second half as her twin with a bikini to boot. Though people were wondering what happened to the first Bipasha, they didn’t think much because there was too much Dhoom-dhaam going in the movie anyway.

Today’s audience accepted the unrealistic reincarnation theme in Om Shanti Om (2007), because we are sold to the idea ‘as you sow, so shall you reap’; this is something that we have been brought up to believe from our ancestors. So when we see the first Shah Rukh Khan dying and the other being born in a contemporary era to seek revenge, we still accept it. In Om Shanti Om, the screenplay and dialogues were also instrumental in making the movie worth watching (at least much more than Tees Maar Khan) even though the script was implausible.

Come to think of it, Rakesh Roshan has made a fortune on the reincarnation theme with almost every movie of his showing the hero as a weakling in the first half and then his namesake or face-sake appearing to seek revenge.

The moral of the story(how relevant!) is that even if your story or script is not true or rational, if you can make it interesting with an entertaining screenplay and dialogues, you can still make money-spinning entertainers.

Tees Maar Khan flops; Is Shah Rukh Khan smiling?

Tees Maar Khan has flopped and Shah Rukh Khan is too busy to say ‘Main Hoon Na’. Farah khan had said in her last interview that Tees Maar Khan was finally HER film, because two of her previous films Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om carried the brand value of Shah Rukh Khan; and she was not really happy with people compartmentalizing those two films as flukes made on the strength of SRK’s brand value.

Things did not work between SRK and Farah Khan and the latter went on to make Tees Maar Khan without Shah Rukh Khan. When asked why she had retracted on the statement that she would never make a film without Shah Rukh, she had said that she had learned never to say ‘never’. Farah also added that Akshay Kumar was the best choice for her film as he suited the character to the hilt.

Shah Rukh Khan was none too pleased with the turn of events . During one of the promotional events of Tees Maar Khan, Shah Rukh Khan did the unthinkable; just when the trio of Farah, Akshay and Katrina were performing on stage, he entered with his bodyguards; and the shutterbugs of the media left the trio and focused on Bollywood’s king. Now that Tees Maar Khan is flopped, we do not know if SRK wil say Main Hoon Na.

But SRK begs to differ SRK says, “ Even I work with Ganesh Hegde, or Farah decides to work with Akshay, it doesn’t change my equations with her. We’re still friends and will always be. I’ll support her whenever she needs me and I know she’ll stand by me.” Read Tees Maar Khan review

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming films in 2010

Shah Rukh Khan's best year may well be, in 2011. The phenomenon who delivered one big hit in the form of My Name is Khan, lay low for most part of the year. Also he steered free of controversy and whenever they came about, he chose to keep quiet and adopted a dignified stand. Now in 2011, it is Shah Rukh khan’s time as he enters the world of entertainment: a game show called Zor Ka Jhatka and two films; Ra One and Don 2: The Chase Continues.

Also Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the main lead in Chetan Bhagat’s adaption 2 States, that will have him working opposite Illena, the talented South Indian actress.
At the same time, SRK is also toying with the idea of a Rohit Shetty film. His production house is in talks with the Golmaal director for a full-fledged comedy. Shah Rukh Khan, the Bazigaar of the 90s known to take good career risks in the 90s did become a little complacent in the first half of 2000. Though the hits were coming, SRK was criticized for not coming up with novel scripts like Aamir Khan would.

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to change that by going for a sci-fi film Ra. One, a thriller Don 2, a romantic movie based on 2 States and round it up with a family entertainer and comedy; ie ; from the Rohit Shetty stable. And last heard, Yash Chopra is looking for a good romantic script for Shah Rukh khan.

Ra. One’s tentative release date is June 2011 while Don 2 will have the mother of all clashes.Yes, Don 2 is all set to release with Aamir Khan’s thriller on Christmas 2011. Also check out Bollywood movies list in 2011

Why Salman Khan is the hottest Bollywood star

Salman Khan turns a year younger today. At 45, Salman Khan is the hottest star on Bollywood horizon, looks-wise as well as performance wise. This year was one of his best ever, where he emerged as the king of Bollywood as well as the king of television. Salman Khan, the most downloaded star in Bollywood, is declared the best host on television with his affable, impromptu approach in Bigg Boss and before that, on Dus Ka Dum

People love Salman Khan for being bindaas and unaffected by successes as well as flops or even personal insinuations. Sallu’s tweets are a reflection of his personality, he does not wallow in self-pride but interacts with followers in his inimitable, friendly manner.

Anyone else in his place would have enjoyed the luxury of giving a superhit in the form of Dabangg. Munni to be Badnaam Again, Sheela will keep her jawaani intact

Munni is all set to be badnaam again on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2010. Malaika Arora will be dancing on the most popular song of 2010, to a premium audience at an uptown suburban hotel party. Sheela or Katrina Kaif, as she is better known, is not really interested in showing her jawaani, as she feels she has better things to do on New Year’s Eve.

Katrina thinks that dancing on New Year’s Eve to a live audience on someone else’ party sends wrong signals, especially that you have nothing else going for you on that night. She adds,"Are you crazy? I am not dancing at any hotel on New Year's eve. To be entertaining a live audience that night instead of enjoying oneself as another year slips in - how sad is that! It's almost like you are telling the audience, 'Hey guys, I don't have a life.'”

There are reports that Malaika who had initially planned for a vacation with her hubby Arbaaz Khan canceled her plan because she got a tempting offer in terms of money from Hotel Sahara to dance at their New Year’s party. The figure was so mind-boggling (we are talking about the money, silly!)that Malaika couldn’t refuse. Katrina Kaif however has other ideas. The latest buzz is that Sheela’s Tees Maar Khan has flopped and her song has not been appreciated as much as Munni Badnaam Hui,

Hrithik Roshan wants Shah Rukh Khan to quit smoking

It is no secret that Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are best friends
Now the Guzaarish star wants My Name is Khan’s bloke to kick butt. Yes, Hrithik is trying his best to help SRK quit smoking.

Hrithik who has kicked smoking for good, got into the habit big time while shooting for Guzaarish. He did so to give his character a tired, lazy look but he did make up his mind that once he is done with the shoot, he will quit smoking. Hrithik says "I started with the excuse of it being a part of the character two years ago with the idea that I'll stop after the film. I've always loved exploring with different experiences but a true adventurer needs courage and a will of iron. I love throwing challenges at myself and this was tough, but I've conquered it and grown stronger in the process. It's empowering."

Apart from convincing Arjun Rampal to quit smoking completely, he has made it clear that he will convince Shah Rukh Khan to quit smoking. Everyone knows SRK is addicted to smoking, known to smoke more than a packet a day. Hope Hrithik Roshan succeeds in making his Guzaarish of Shah Rukh Khan to quit smoking, a reality.

Tees Maar Khan Movie Review: Boring, Bad Movie

There is a difference between Entertainment and Mental Torture. Tawaif Ki Loothi Izzat Bachana Aur Tees Maar Khan dekhna, dono hi bekaar hain.Okay, here is why Tees Maar Khan can make you cry this December.

Minus point of Tees Maar khan: Apart from a couple of things, in Tees Maar Khan, there is nothing worth applauding The movie is made very casually, (this is the vibe one gets, considering comedy is a ‘serious’ business); the characters and the story do not have any base. There are so many niggles like no background of Katrina Kaif, no clarity on those two twin brothers of Akshay and a forced gay track.

There were so many areas where thrills could have been injected, but the director skips all those 'unimportant' parts. Akshay Kumar is Tees Maar Khan, but there is nothing to prove that he is what he claims to be. You don’t see ‘how’ he escapes from the prison, the treasure of Rs. 500 crore seems like a figment of an uninspired imagination.

TMK is an institution for overacting; Farah Khan manages to make even Katrina Kaif boring. Akshaye Khanna has lost it; an actor of his caliber is languishing in such inconsequential roles. There have been other movies which were a ‘big joke’ in the name of entertainment like No Problem and Housefull , Tees Maar Khan is really a Tees Maar Khan in this department.

Plus points about Tees Maar Khan: Sheela Ki Jawani (but sadly even that has been exposed way too much, looks like Looks like Sheela ki menopause now).. and Akshay Kumar’s valiant attempt to do whatever he can of this tomfoolery.

Performance in Tees Maar Khan:
Akshay Kumar ends the year with an embarrassment, his fault lies with bad scripts rather than acting. Enough of slap-stick comedy, dude..it makes you look like a joker(though you are fantastic
). A sincere advice to Katrina Kaif, who has actually acted well in movies like New York: please try the Neha Dhupia/ Kareena Kapoor formula of doing quality-script rich films; you will get a lot of respect m’am. The lesser said about the others, the better.

Conclusion: Farah Khan did a good thing by not considering SRK for this film. Some movies are made for you to lose money, this ones make you lose your mind too, even if you had left it behind at home!

Rating: * 1/2 (crap, well almost)

Bollywood films 2011: Bollywood movies to watch in 2011

2011 will see some very good Bollywood movies hitting the marquee. Brace yourself to some hard-hitting performances and better scripts. This year, the two big Khans, Shah RuKh and Aamir were out of action; but they will lock horns in 2011

So here are the Bollywood movies to watch in 2011

1. No One Killed Jessica: Raj Kumar Gupta, the under-rated director will get his due if No One Killed Jessica clicks, and in most likelihood, it should. The movies has the best female talents in contemporary times, Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan. No One Killed Jessica is a fictionalized account on the case of the Jessica Lal murder. While Vidya plays the victim’s sister who crusades for justice, Rani is the fiery journalist who stops at nothing.
2. Dhobi Ghat : Yet another possibly brilliant movie to come from Aamir Khan Productions. His wife Kiran Rao is directing this slice of life. When the movie was release in the Toronto Film festival, it met with a resounding applause. Aamir Khan has an interesting role to play in the film.
3. Game: Abhishek Bachchan will feature in this racy thriller that is on the lines of Bourne Identity. Abhinay Deo directs this film, the same guy who was going to direct Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly but backed out due to the delay, and began to concentrate on this Farhan Akhtar production. The movie will have Kangna Ranaut looking super cool as a cop, and debutante Sarah Jane Dias in a hot avatar. Watch out!
4. Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara; This is the multi-starrer that you should watch out for. Hrithik Roshan may have been unlucky in 2009 but hopefully things will change for him in 2010. Lucky mascot Katrina Kaif stars opposite him in this Farhan Akhtar production directed byhis sister Zoya. Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin are also on-board, on this movie that is set on the backdrop of Spain.
5. Saath Khoon Maaf: If you like the earthy sex appeal of Vidya Balan in Ishqiya, 2010 turns bolder for this Vishal Bharadwaj movie, Saath Khoon Maaf. In this one, Priyanka Chopra wil play a woman who marries seven times, and kills all her husbands. This is based on Ruskin Bond's story Sussana's Seven Husbands, The men in the film include Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan Khan, Anu Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham etc.
6. Ra. One: He is back and how! Shah Rukh Khan, who took a sabbatical is back doing what he best: acting. He will be in a superhero mode for Ra.One, a state of the art SFX bonanza that will have him battling out the evil forces of the world along with lady love Kareena Kapoor.
7. Don 2: Shah Rukh Khan back in the year’s coolest thriller as Don 2, in this Farhan Akhtar directed movie. Fans of SRK cannot wait more for this one.
8. Rockstar: This is a winning that should not go wrong. The man for romance, director Imtiaz Ali will direct this romance drama with two of the biggest stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The other big star that people will look forward to, or rather listen in to, is A.R.Rahman who will compose the music for this film.
9. Mausam : Shahid Kapur will don a moustache for this romantic movie that pairs him opposite Sonam Kapoor. The best thing about this one is Pankaj Kapoor, who sensibilities as a director cannot be faulted.
10. Agent Vinod: Sriram Raghavan directs an underworld thriller called Agent Vinod, which will have Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. His real life lady love, Kareena Kapoor, will play an ultra glamorous female in a shady role. Brace for gritty, hard-hitting film-making here.
11. Dostana 2: Will Katrina Kaif play on the fantasies of men as Priyanka Chopra did in Dostana?Let’s see as the on-screen gay couple, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham come back with their fun-filled antics in London.
12. Ready: The Dabangg star will get ready in 2011. In other words, Salman Khan will star in a movie called Ready that is a remake of the Telugu film of the same name. Anees Bazmee directs this film that has him paired opposite the cherubic Asin.
13. Dil Toh Bacha Hai Ji: Madhur Bhandarkar will direct a comedy for the first time, a movie that will have an assorted cast of Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya, Amisha Patel, Shruti Hassan and Jiah Khan.
14. Double Dhamaal: Double Dhamaal will be a sequel to the dark-horse hit of 2007.Though there were no females in the first part, this one will have Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat. The other male actors, Sanjay Dutt,Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh,Aashish Chaudhary andJaved Jaffrey remain.
15. Players: This is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of 2011. An official remake of The Italian Job, Players is an action thriller that has Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Omi Vaidya, Sonam Kapoor and Bipasha Basu.

Things turned uglier when Aamir Khan stepped in to defend the writer of 3 Idiots and the producers. But then, he was criticized largely by the public, for saying things without really knowing them in entirety. So, Aamir backed out and Chetan also decided that there was no point dragging the thing, and the controversy ended. Read more about the Chetan Bhagat Aamir controversy

Amitabh Bachchan vs Anurag Kashyap: No-holds barred director Anurag Kashyap instigated Amitabh Bachchan of delaying the release of a small-time movie Chittagong and promoting the release ahead of his own son’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se. Big B decided to distance himself from the allegations but not before saying that whatever that was said, was baseless. Read how Anurag Kashyap criticized Big B

9. Yana Gupta’s no panty show: This has to take the cake. Yana Gupta, stepped into a children's NGO function going commando. Yana Gupta forgot to wear her panties and the camera caught her, as the girl tried her best to cover her modesty in vain. The next few weeks had the Internet abuzz with the 'star' on Yana Gupta's private part. Yana hid her embarrassment by implying that was done, was done and she wanted people to forget it (as if anyone wants to! Yana said that her panties would stick to her ass whenever she would practice for a dance program (Jhalak Dikh Laja), so she would not wear undies. But she forgot to wear it before coming before the event. Well, whatever it was, the star did make Yana Gupta a star as she got a crore deal to go commando for a magazine, this time deliberately. Now we understand what you mean by Jhalak Dikh Laja, Yana!  But then, some are saying that it is just skin color inner-wear! Here are other instances of Bollywood wardrobe malfunctions .

10. Rishi Kapoor vs Karan Johar show: At Karan Johar’s show, Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone said things rather freely against Ranbir Kapoor. The latter’s father did not take kindly to this and told his son that he should stop working with Karan and he also warned the girls to concentrate on their careers rather than giggle away to glory.

11. Priyanka Chopra vs Kareena Kapoor Koffee with Karan is the place to start controversies. Kareena Kapoor had made some smart-ass comments on Priyanka Chopra and when it was her chance to come to the show, the Fashion girl was full-on vitriolic against Bebo. Both the girls are now trying to salvage the situation by saying 'oh it was just in good humor'.Yeah!

12. Koena Mitra vs Saif Ali Khan: This is the latest to hit the headlines as Bollywood’s controversies in 2010. Saif in Koffee with Karan show said that the worst case of Botox was Koena Mitra. The girl, when she heard it, was saddened by his statement and gave her take on the matter.

1. Sonakshi Sinha: : Though Salman Khan stole the show in Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha’s endearing presence, poise and performance made many take note.

Mirch Movie Review:Ever Lusting FourPlay

Mirch celebrates female sexuality and shows that throughout the years, they have been getting their way by using their brains, much to the ignorance of their male partners. Mirch shows that women are on top, in bed and out of it!!

Story of Mirch
Mirch is set in two times zones-the age old and the contemporary. The theme justifies the tag-line ‘Catch Her Red-Handed’; wherein in every story, the female is caught red-handed in the act and she cleverly wiggles out of the situation in a comic-like situation.
. The movie removes the veil of women being all sugar and nice, subscribing to the Nancy Friday view that they think with their vaginas too as much as men do with their penises. Here are the four stories in brief without revealing much of the thrill element in them
1. In the first story, Rajpal Yadav plays a gullible bumpkin who thinks that his wife is all-goody shoes. But some of his friends tell him that his wife has a roving eye. Though he does not want to do it, he puts his wife to a test.
2. The second story is of an impotent old man, Prem Chopra whose wife Konkona Sen Sharma is attracted to a youth. The trick likes in her finding out a way to bed him, wit his conditoni being that she should do so, in front of the eyes of her very own husband..
3. The third story, a contemporary one, is based on a husband, Shreyas Talpade who is suspicious of his wife who has an insatiable libido. He put her through a test to find out that his wife is all loyal but…..
4. The fourth, probably, the weakest of the plots is a miserly, Sindhi man, played by Boman Irani who frequents prostitutes in seedy hotels because he is bored with his wife Konkona Sen Sharma. One day, he finds something that takes him surprise.

All of these four stories are actually a part of the script that is narrated by a writer,, Arunodoy Singh and his girlfriend, Shahana Goswami to a producer, Sushant Singh. The adulterous women in the first and third story is Raima Sen, while the man who seduces them in the first three stories is Arunodoy himself in various avatars.

Plus points of Mirch: It is nice to see a story that shows women as biologically honed to sex as men. What is even impressive is the way the movie with absolute fluidity, the women being shown as smarter to men in the cerebral department. The second and the third story take the cake. The best thing about the movie is that in spite of treading in this arena, the movie is not at all vulgar, but seducing to the mind. The love-making scenes are also aesthetically shot without going the crass way.

Minus points of Mirch: The last story is a downer and one would have expected the movie to end in a high. The climax in Mirch is missing. Also, the justification given in some of the plots are childish.

Performances of Mirch: Raima Sen is absolutely amazing, her eyes flirt between innocence and sex-hungry with affable ease. Konkona Sen is also interesting but not as smooth and fluid as Raima. Arunodoy Singh is first-rate and Sahana Goswami makes you realize that she is a treasure house of talent, vastly under-utilizied. They make a pretty couple with the right rational outlook on life. The other actors, Prem Chopra, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sh
ukla and Rajpal Yadav are good in their cameos.

Conclusion: Mirch has good content, seduces the mind and gives flights to those naughty fantasies, in your mind

Rating :***(Good)

Who is the best TV host in Indian TV -2010?

Who has been the best TV host for reality shows in Indian television. Let us find out.

1. Amitabh Bachchan in Kaun Banega Crorepati: The elegant Big B was suave, charismatic, friendly and warmed up to the audiences and participants in such a way that the show still continued to have a huge fan following in its fourth season.
2. Salman Khan in Bigg Boss: People believe that Salman Khan is the best host Bigg Boss has ever had. Spontaneous, funny, flirtatious and cute, Sallu has been outstanding, the show gets even more TRPs on Fridays and Saturdays when he comes to the show.
3. Karan Johar in Koffee with Karan: Naughty Karan Johar puts guests on a hot, albeit uncomfortable seat, as they squirm thinking of what to say at questions that put them in a fix. The rapidfire round is where Karan is at his best, ironically churning out some of the worst controversies in Bollywood 2010.
4. Rakhi Sawant in Rakhi Ka Insaaf: Rakhi Sawant’s hosting in Rakhi Ka Insaaf is no short of a joke, but the fact is it is agonizingly entertaining. When people surf channels and they see the shouting, abusing and slapping in that program with Rakhi spoiling the broth, people stop and watch. And this makes Rakhi Ka Insaaf, a success.
5. Priyanka Chopra in Khatron Ke Khiladi Priyanka Chopra had a relatively tougher task to take over the mantle of Akshay Kumar who had hosted the previous two seasons of Khatron Ke Khiladi well. Though there was not much chemistry between the boys and her in the first few episodes, and Priyanka’s cringe and disgust-ridden face at the first few episodes turned off viewers, she eventually managed to get support and love of the participants and audiences.
6. Akshay Kumar in Masterchef: Akshay Kumar has been hosting Masterchef delightfully. Walking the tight rope between being a hard task master and a friend, he is doing it very well.

Top, Best Bollywood Actresses of 2010

Let go through the most successful, best actresses of 2010. Here is the countdown

12. Priyanka Chopra: She had a flop Pyaar Impossible and managed to get an average Anjaana Anjaani. Priyanka Chopra found herself in the controversy for having ruffled Kareena’s feathers in Koffee with Karan Show.
11. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Aishwarya Rai was supposed to have a promising year in 2010. Unfortuantely, it wasn’t meant to be with most of her big banner movies flopping. Though the woman looked gorgeous than ever before and acted beautifully, even overshadowing her husband Abhishek Bachchan in Raavan and being on equal footing with Hrithik Roshan in Guzaarish, both movies flopped. Action Replayy was a resounding flop as well. Only Endhiraan (Robot) held her steady as a tidal wave called Rajnikanth stormed and broke all records conceivable. But Aishwarya Rai’s market demand still continues to rise, unaffected by these films.

10. Lara Dutta: Lara Dutta had a 100 percent success rate in 2010, she had just one release Housefull, which was a hit. So the lady is all smiles. Lara Dutta was however in controversy for her supposed nipple slip at the IIFA awards, which died later

9..Kangna Ranaut; She better change the spelling of her name and keep it as it was. For Kangna Ranaut had a terrible year; Kites (special appearance), Knock Out and No Problem flopped. Furthermore, her English diction was criticized and her attempts at comedy in No Problem fell flat. But she was able to coast safely in 2010 due to that one big hit, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.

8. Anushka Sharma : Anushka Sharma had an average year in 2010 but what is good is that she has emerged with a winning tag of a ‘good actress’. Though her Badmaash Company flopped, she got a surprise hit in Band Baaja Baarat.

7. Kajol: Kajol was lauded for her brilliant performance in My Name is Khan but her over-the-top act in We are Family found a few takers.

6. Sonam Kapoor: Sonam Kapoor had an average year as well, with one hit, I Hate Luv Storys and one flop, Aisha.

5. Deepika Padukone:D eepika Padukone had maximum releases in 2010 and she gave hits and flops of various shapes and sizes. Karthik Calling Karthik flopped but was appreciated by the critics, Lafangey Parindey did average, Break ke Baad and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se were big flops while she got a hit in Housefull.
4.Sonakshi Sinha; Straight to the number 4 position is the instant darling of the masses, Sonakshi Sinha who wowed the audience with her pretty girl appeal in Dabangg. Sonakshi’s ample figure (a far cry from the skeleton waifs) and her easy charm cast a spell on the audience. One more bonus: the girl can act.

3. Kareena Kapoor: If you can discount her old film Milenge Milenge, Kareena Kapoor had a good year in 2010. Her Golmaal 3 did amazing business, fetching more than 100 crores, while We are Family was not so lucky.

2. Vidya Balan: The scorching hot and immensely talented Vidya Balan is charting her own course to success. After winning Filmfare Award for best actress in Paa (2009), Vidya Balan has come up with an award worthy performance for Ishqiya. Looks like everything she touches may turn into gold, with No One Killed Jessica and Dirty Picture, also appearing exciting prospects.

1. Katrina Kaif: Katrina Kaif is the queen of Bollywood for 2010.The hit magnate, who has been the most bankable star apart from Aamir Khan, has continued doling hits, a smooth run from 2008 and 2009. In 2010, Katrina Kaif gave a blockbuster Raajneeti and her Tees Maar Khan is also poised for greater glories. The legend of Sheela lives on.

Bollywood Movie Trends of 2010

Bollywood had an average run in 2010; there were some reasons to smile and many reasons to frown. Several big banners flopped and the so-called established directors who were known to guarantee hits found themselves fizzling out of luck. Some of the major flops of Bollywood 2010 were Kites, Raavan,We are Family, Jhootha Hi Sahi and Guzaarish. Let us go over to the good news for Bollywood in 2010.

For the first time in Bollywood history, two movies Dabangg and Golmaal 3 crossed Rs. 100 crore mark. Another congratulatory thing is My Name is Khan becoming the biggest overseas Bollywood hit ever with Rs. 99,00,00,000 from US, Canada, U.K. and Australian markets. Give below is the a brief look back at the timeline to see how Bollywood fared in 2010.

The year began on a less impressive note with both romantically themed films, Chance Pe Dance and Pyaar Impossible flopping in the month of January. On January 22, Salman Khan’s much-hyped Veer (which he had scripted) released and flopped. Zarine Khan was noticed though, for her flawless skin and Katrina Kaif like resemblance. Finally, there was some respite on January 29, when Ishqiya and Rann released. While Rann flopped, Ishqiya powered by Vidya Balan’s sex appeal and a goofy kidnap plot turned to be the first above average performer of the year.

Bollywood hit it big with My Name is Khan that released on February 12, amidst controversy. The outskirts of the theater resembled a war-like zone as the government gave high security to theaters in Mumbai, following threats by political factions to stall the release of the film. The movie was a thumping success in India as well as overseas. The same month, Atithi Tum Kab Jaogey and Karthik Caling Karthik released, the former did business comparable to Ishqiya, while Karthik Calling Karthik was average.

In the month of March, there was nothing noteworthy except for Love Sex aur Dhokha and Well Done Abba; while the first one was average, the second one flopped. The noteworthy releases between April and May were Shaapit, Phoonk 2, Housefull, Kites, Badmaash Company and Prince. Except for Housefull, the rest flopped. The three horror films, Shaapti, Phoonk 2 and recently, a tackily made Hissss, met with a horrific fate, indeed.

In the month of June, Bollywood got one of its biggest hits of the year,Raajneeti when it released on June 4. Two weeks later, on June 18, the much anticipated Raavan directed by Mani Rathnam flopped.

July to September was the best phase for Bollywood in 2010. The biggest hits were I Hate Luv Storys (July 2), Tere Bin Laden (July 16), Khatta Meetha(July 23), Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (July 30), Peepli Live (August 13) and finally the mother of all blockbusters, Dabangg (September 10). One of the biggest upsets was Karan Johar’s We are Family that released a week before Dabangg.

From October, flops began their torrential downpour in Bollywood. Some of the flops included Crook (October 8), Aakrosh(October 15), Hissss and Jhootha Hi Sahi in October 22, Action Replayy (November 5), Guzaarish (November 19), Allah Ke Bandey and Break ke Baad (November 26), Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se and Raktha Charitra (December 3) and No Problem in December 3. The only hit in this period was Golmaal 3! What a tragedy!

From the above trends in Bollywood 2010, we can safely say that movies that entertained ruled, while those which were content heavy or had too much razzmatazz without content also flopped. 2010 was one of the worst years for romantic Bolllywood films. Kites, Chance Pe Dance, Anjaana Anjaana flopped; the only decently performing romantic film being Band Baaja Baarat(December 10), starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma.

Let us know take a brief look at Bollywood movie trends of 2010:

Formula film with dialogues that have mass appeal: Dabangg at its heart, is just another old formula film but with the super prowess of Salman Khan, cool action and uber-cool lines, it became a milestone movie. This one had everything: masala, item number, romance, action, comedy and a convincing climax. So lovable was the treatment, that the classes and critics were ready to forgive Salman’s shirt tearing away and coming back in one piece, later. Moral of the story: Star power rules and the formula masala film never goes out of the fashion.
1. Year of comedies: In 2010, the comedies were purely slapstick. Not exactly a good year of humor, the content relied on slaps and loud screaming to elicit laughter. Golmaal 3 and Housefull were successful in their attempts, while No Problem had to bite dust. Genuinely funny films like Phas Gaya Re Obama were appreciated.

2. Small is Big: 2010 saw upsets by some of the biggest directors, while first-time and relatively new directors impressed a legion of fans with their low budget-rich content films. Some of the small budget Bollywood films in 201 that hit a chord with the audiences included Phas Gaya Re Obama, Tere Bin Laden, Ishqiya, Peepli Live, Udaan Khichdi and Athiti Tum Kab Jaoge.
3. Year of small town based films: Ishqiya, Raajneeti, Peepli Live, Aakrosh and Phas Gaya Re Obama were also thematically based in villages and small towns.
4. Year of thrillers: There were quite a few thrillers in 2010 which did really well, including Raajneeti, Ishqiya, Karthik Calling Karthik and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. Thrillers like Aakrosh and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se flopped due to heavy content, while a shocking lift from Phone Booth, 'Knockout' bit the dust. Worst Bollywood Flop Films-2010

2010 has been the worst year for Bollywood’ top film-makers. All the big directors known for their so-called quality film-making failed: Mani Rathnam, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vipul Shah, Priyadarshan, Kunal Kohli, Anees Bazmi and Anurag Basu. Let us look at some of the biggest flops or the worst Bollywood films of 2010

1. Raavan: The budget of the movie was Rs.100 crore but the gross revenue was just Rs. 29.50 crore. The movie was plain boring and failed to attract the audiences.
2. Guzaarish: The budget of Guzaarish was more than Rs. 67 crore but the gross revenue was Rs. 21 crore. The movie’s gloomy mood and some crucial errors were cited as the reasons.
3. Action Replayy: Action Replayy’s budget exceeded Rs.40 crore and made just Rs.22.50 crore . The movie was found to be lacking in drama and humor
4. No Problem: No Problem has been outrightly rejected by the audience; a surprise to everyone concerned because a lot of people had high hopes riding on the film. The lackadaisical plot that cringed with pathetic humor was the reason.
5. Kites: Kites may have been raved in the West but it was rejected in India. It managed to recover its costs (gross revenue: Rs.65 crores and budget Rs.60 crores) but Kites had to be taken off theaters with people facing issues with the language in the film, and a boring second half.
6. Aakrosh: Aakrosh proved to be a spoke in Ajay Devgn’s runaway successful year 2010. A heavy subject and high cost of production were the reasons for the flop.
7. Jhootha Hi Sahi: Jhootha Hi Sahi suffered terribly with just 50 percent occupancy in the first week. The movie flopped due to an insipid plot
8. Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey: Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey flopped inspite of being a well directed movie, due to its slow first half and a plot that did not excite the youth(can be partly blamed for unsatisfactory promotion)

The corporates who backed these disasters are staring into a dark deep hole because besides their reported investments on these movies: Kites approximately Rs 100 crores, Raavan allegedly Rs 100 crores, Guzaarish Rs 67 crores, Khele Hum Jee Jaan Sey Rs 45 crores, Action Replayy Rs 45 crores and Aakrosh Rs 35 crores... the film-makers who have made these movies have charged a bomb as their personal equity fee.

While Bhansali and Mani have crossed the Rs 20 crore fee bracket, Ashutosh is said to have asked for Rs 16 crores as his personal remuneration for directing (or today as the film industry says for mis-directing) a movie. Priyadarshan, Vipul, Anurag are also in the Rs 10 crore club. The distributors of these films think that the market fees that they get are much higher than what they can deliver.
The echo of these flops have been so left that there are rumors that one big corporation is seriously thinking of quitting making a film with a superstar son. There are reports that corporate are having lots of closed-door meetings to take stock of the situation. Two movie corporations have been hit so badly that they are shelving future projects because the losses they have incurred are too high and scary to venture on to projects of such big magnitudes.

Abhishek Bachchan: Bad Actor or Good Actor?

Though he may have not started it, Abhishek Bachchan found himself in a middle of controversies with many people within the industry doubting his acting capabilities. Though critics and people in general think that Abhishek Bachchan is a good actor, there are many who think that he has been giving many chances because of his super-star father Amitabh Bachchan, something that other newcomers may not have the luxury of.

In this year, 2010, Abhishek’s family friend, adman Prahlad Kakkar said that Abhishek Bachchan was just lucky to get 17 chances. At the Mumbai festival, he entertained people with his take on Bollywood, “Why use a good actor when you can have a nephew? And if you have to create stars anyway, why not from the family? It is hence very difficult for men to become stars. But since Bollywood does not want their women to be in films, females have a better chance of becoming stars or starlets. Men stars are usually useless nephews and sons," he said at a forum. No. he did not end there. He went on to 'cite an example' in the form of Abhishek Bachchan. He said, "Abhishek Bachchan has 17 flops in a row and is still going strong. He is unique and should be in the Guinness Book of Records."

Abhishek Bachchan later tweeted “"I love Prahlad Kakkar, he should be a stand-up comic not an ad-filmmaker. Maybe then someone will take him seriously! This coming from a man who makes commercials with his own son. Hmmm. Oh ya, Prahlad, I'm already in the Guinness book of world records and a very proud son. I hope you give your sons an opportunity to say the same someday.

But then the digs against him just does not seem to end; with fire-brand director Anurag Kashyap alleging that the Bachchans were insecure enough to push Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey ahead, and delay a similar film made by another team. He wrote on his Facebook wall, “See Chittagong, a far superior film made on the same subject as Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.. At 1/8 th the cost, far superior actors and immense passion... Producers decided to sit on it, because of a phone call from someone, because that someone was trying desperately to save his son’s career... welcome to Bollywood, where whose son you are outshines all the hard work and passion and potential and talent. KHJJS came and went, now what?” Anurag even considers Abhishek Bachchan’s best work in Yuva, as bad acting.

Abhishek Bachchan’s acting in Raavan was criticized for not being good enough, at least not in par with the Tamil version, which was enacted by Vikram. However, the facts still show that Bachchan Jr's. performances have been quite appreciated in many films. Abhishek Bachchan has won Filmfare awards for his performances in Yuva, Sarkar and Kabhi Alvida Ne Kehna; while his performance in Guru, was widely appreciated.

So, do you think Abhishek Bachchan is a bad actor or has he been just unlucky with some of his last few films? As they say, an actor is only known by his or her last release. Also read, Abhishek Bachchan replying to criticism. Finally, the maverick director Ram Gopal Varma thinks that Abhishek Bachchan is a better actor than Amitabh Bachchan. What do you think guys? Abhishek Bachchan is a bad actor: Anurag Kashyap

Anurag Kashyap thinks that Abhishek Bachchan is a bad actor. He had written about this a few years ago, but his outburst against Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, implies that nothing has changed. He had written in defense of John Abraham, who acted in his No Smoking. Apart from taking Abhishek Bachchan's case, Anurag said that Hrithik Roshan did not have John's intelligence for choosing scripts.

Kashyap was quite direct about Abhishek Bachchan. "If John Abraham is a bad actor than Abhishek Bachchan is equally bad, but who has the b***s to write it? AB was great in Yuva to everybody except me. I am the one who wrote the goddamned lines. I wrote Lallan Singh and they were the best damn lines I ever wrote. And believe me, he didn't understand half of it. He never rose above the script, but he won all the awards. His talent, and his career, the way it has shaped up are two different things and I do not envy him that. He is loved by people. John is rising over the script in what I am doing."

The Dev D director had written this in defence of John, "There is a lot being written about John's performance in Babul and Kabul... and I am not trying to say he is good in them, he is not. Whose fault is it? Some reviewer wrote that he stands in a corner doing nothing. Why should he do anything when he is not required to do it? He is doing what the director asks him to do."

According to him, the onus for making an actor perform rests on a director. He added, "Now John is not as good an actor as Hrithik is or Aamir, but the man understands that and works on it. He was pathetic in Babul but that wasn't his role. He was miscast and no one except the director can be blamed for that. Knowing he is an actor who cannot speak the language he was made to speak, someone should have worked with him, someone should have worked with him on his motivations and state of mind, but no one bothered to because no one cared, they already had the proposal, project was already sold."

Anurag compares John to Aamir Khan and took a dig at Hrithik as well. He wrote, "Show me another actor other than Aamir Khan who can refuse two big proposals of doing a Yashraj film and a Mani Ratnam film (incidentally, I worked on both these films that he rejected) and choose absolutely risky Kabul Express or No Smoking... SRK didn't have the courage. Hrithik Roshan, the other day asked me at a friend's party, in front of Kunal Kapoor as witness, 'Why didn't you come to me with No Smoking? I heard the concept somewhere and liked it." He couldn't remember who told him and where, and I did not remind him that it was me who narrated him the concept but at that time he wanted to do something like Starsky and Hutch. Problem is no actor barring Aamir and John have the intelligence or imagination to see a film before it's made."

Anurag Kashyap or Amitabh Bachchan: Who is correct?

Anurag Kashyap prefer to call a spade, a spade. His reputation of being outspoken has taken him places and also made him feel out of place. This time, his radar was on Amitabh Bachchan, whom he accused of playing favorites and delaying the release of a film.

Anurag wrote on Facebook that Big B was purposely delaying the release of Shonali Bose' s Chittagong by using his influence so that Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se could release earlier.  Anurag has no personal or professional interest to derive from, in this film but he spoke up, because according to him; he wants certain things in Bollywood to be straightened.

Both  Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Chittagong are based on the 1930 Chittagong Armory Raid, and the famous historical revolutionary Surjya Sen was played by Abhishek Bachchan in the former and by Manoj Bajpai in the latter. Both films were to release around the same time, but Ashutosh Gowariker's mega-budget released first while the modest budgeted Chittagong directed by Shonali's husband, Bedrabata was delayed, which is why Anurag chose to take up the cudgels in the favor of Chittagong

Anurag Kashyap wrote this on the social networking site “See Chittagong, a far superior film made on the same subject as Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.. At 1/8 th the cost, far superior actors and immense passion... Producers decided to sit on it, because of a phone call from someone, because that someone was trying desperately to save his son’s career... welcome to Bollywood, where whose son you are outshines all the hard work and passion and potential and talent. KHJJS came and went, now what?”

Unaware of Kashyap’s remarks, writer-producer-director of Chittagong, Bedabrata Pain, said, “Anurag is known to be a very frank and fearless person. I am very honoured that people like he and Vishal Bhardwaj have thrown their weight behind the film. The last thing I want is controversy. Some time ago, I lost my 16-year old son and right now, my priority is my 12-year old son. I want people to come and see Chittagong. Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey has come and gone. The story is yet to be told.”

Kashyap told the media. “About my Chittagong status, I was furious. Some of my team members saw the film KHJJS and walked out. Then you realise what a fucking industry we work in,” said Kashyap.

Amitabh Bachchan on his part chose not to give any importance to the controversy and said,, “This is incorrect and baseless and I do not wish to dignify this undignified remark by commenting on it.” Abhishek Bachchan refused to comment on the issue, as well.

Well, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se (read review) was not really a bad movie, but it defintely had a slow first half that did the movie in.   Big B  had already been criticized twice for defending Raavan and saying that his son's performance was sidelined in Dhoom 2 as against Hrithik Roshan.Whom do you think is right, Anurag Kashyap or Amitabh Bachchan? Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Bitch About Each Other

On Koffee with Karan, Kareena Kapoor had made fun of Priyanka Chopra saying that she had an accent."I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from?" she had said. But when the time came for Miss. Fashion to make an entry on the show with on-off boyfriend Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra liberally took Kareena's case.

Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have come together for various films and shows. Some of the films that the sexy women have worked together include Aitraaz and Don; they have also come together for a Pepsi ad, a Kaun Banega Crorepati episode hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, and more recently in the Being Human event. But under all the veneer, they do have issues for each other as was evident in their outbursts against each other. Also, do not forget Priyanka and Kareena Kapoor share a common personal factor-Shahid Kapur. Also read about, Anil Kapoor's finding Shilpa Shetty a classic case of bad botox.

Anyway,on Kareena's allegation about Priyanka's accent, pat came her reply, “I want to tell Kareena that I got my accent from the same place where her boyfriend (Saif Ali Khan) got his.” But Piggy Chops was not done. She said, ", “I’m flattered that Kareena thinks I am a good actress…But otherwise I don’t think people take Bebo too seriously.” This was in response to Kareena Kapoor's catty reply that Priyanka was a good 'actress'.

When Karan asked the question which Karan asked on the show was that what she would like to steal from the computers of Bollywood superstars like SRK, Shahid, Kareena and others. Priyanka Chopra giggled “Does Kareena have a computer in the first place?"

Well..well we think Priyanka Chopra has gone too far, below the belt against Kareena. Speaking of computers, Kareena Kapoor models for Sony Vaio laptops, so yes, she defintely one free at her place. And Kareena who was once known for being brash, has mellowed down and is busy letting her work speak for herself.  What do you think guys?
