The Dirty Picture may not be Silk Smitha' story completely but it draws many parallels from her life. It is a riveting tale of  the experiences of  the dusky Southern siren of the 80s who carved a niche for herself in the male dominated industry, walking down the seductive alley only to meet a dead end.

A movie of this canvas needed a director who could weave entertainment and oomph with a sensitive streak because beneath the spicy visual feast is a story of impoverished struggle, an urge to reach for the stars and to break the confines of conformity.

Sunny Leone in Bollywood Movie-Murder 3

Sunny Leone has been cast as the heroine of Murder3, according to the Bhatts.  They want to make 'Murder' series in a Bond-like format,with a unique female lead actress in every instalment opposite their in-house hero, Emraan Hashmi. But this time, along with Emraan Hashmi and Sunny Leone, Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul Bhatt will also be included in the main starcast of Murder 3.

A source said," "Mahesh Bhatt wanted to launch his son Rahul opposite Sunny Leone in a film titled Blue Film. At the time, Leone had no intentions of making a Bollywood debut. She had turned down the offer back then. However, now, she has made it pretty clear that she is game for Hindi cinema. Mahesh is apparently reviving Blue Film at the moment."

Sunny Leone is currently the contestants for Bigg Boss 3. Her popularity has increased among Indians after she joined the show. She had turned down a few offers because the filmmakers in Bollywood proposed casting couch to Sunny Leone for a role in their films.

When contacted, Rahul Bhatt said, "Yes, my father was going to launch me with Sunny Leone in Blue Film. But it didn't materialise. About the project being revived now, I am not denying it. But you will have to ask my father. I am a big fan of Leone."

Mohit Suri is going to direct Murder 3. It is highly unlikely that Sunny Leone's Bollywood movie will be called Blue Film because that title was scrapped by the Bhatts after they had made a movie on that subject and called it 'Kalyug'. Mahesb Bhatt also confirmed that the title of the movie is different.

Meanwhile Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK) has other ideas. He said that Sunny Leone's Bollywood film will be "Naukri Chahiye Chokri laa". In his usual flurry of funny tweets, he says, 'Sunny Leone's first bollywood film will be my film Naukri Chahiye Chokri laa a comedy and not Murder3 as reported. Akshay Kumar- Movie Based on Bigg Boss

Akshay Kumar is also a huge fan of Bigg Boss as do many people in the country. Little wonder, then as he has decided to make a movie based on the famous reality show and produce it under his own banner 'Hari Om Productions'. Akshay will play a role in the casting process and has decided to cast 12 actors in important roles.

A source informs, "Like the reality show Bigg Boss, Akshay's film will have 13-14 inmates locked up in a house. The other actors have not yet been finalised."

The star is in talks with a leading director to handle the project and a formal announcement will be made shortly on this regard.  Meanwhile a special set that resembles the huge Bigg Boss house is set up. The 13 contestants on the show will be essayed by various actors, while Akshay will most likely play the role  of the hoset.

"The film will be a thriller. A crime will be committed in the house that will get recorded on camera. Every contestant will be the suspect," revealed the source. He adds, " Akshay loves Bigg Boss. He has been thinking about making a film on similar lines. He has already got a writer on board, who has been working on the script for a while now."

Akshay has produced four films under his own banner which include  Singh is Kingg, Action Replayy, Khatta Meetha and Speedy Singhs. His next production Khiladi 786 has him and and Himesh Reshammiya in the main roles, scheduled for a Diwali 2012 release. "The film based on the TV reality show will be one of his most ambitious projects till date. The thought of putting the show on a larger canvas is challenging and thrilling," added the source.

Why the name Sunny Leone where your original name is Karen Malhotra?
Sunny Leone- Sunny was one of my favourite nicknames. So I changed my name to it for safety reasons, for the fear of what I do. Not that I am scared, but this is just my alter ego and I love my alter ego.”

How many times have you visited India?
Sunny Leone- I've been to India a few times. I was here in February and again came in May 2008... so I have been visiting the country on and off. But this is my first time here as an entertainer and I'm looking forward to a positive feedback from all my lovely fans

What do you think about the reaction of people in Bigg Boss house when Sunny Leone enters?
I think the very fact that I am showing up on a show like this will make for a jaw-dropping moment for many people inside and outside the house. But I guess it would be interesting to see who knows me and who doesn't in the Bigg Boss house.

It would be fun to see how the guys react... because when most guys see me, they don't know what to do with themselves. I am as intimidated about their reactions as anybody would be."

How many boyfriends do you have?
I am just a conservative working girl who goes to the same man all her all life. We share a house, two lovely dogs and a production company in which I do everything from selecting actors and scripts to editing and writing. I may act in adult movies but actually I’m a one-man woman.

How long will you be in Bigg Boss?
Sunny Leone- Well, I am a contestant. So if people like me, I will stay right on till the end.


Did you get a few Bollywood offers before?
Sunny Leone- Well, I did get loads of Bollywood offers but I wanted to work her without making any ‘favors’ to anyone. I was asked to make ‘compromises which is why I declined those offers and my Bollywood debut is still to happen. I do not subscribe to Bollywood’s casting couch, I would like my work to speak for itself.

Who is your favorite actor in Bollywood?
Sunny Leone- Aamir Khan, I want to meet him soon. It would be great if I could meet him and I would really like to work with him. I also like the hosts of Bigg Boss — Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. I have grown up watching them.


Have you parents seen anyone of your videos?
Sunny Leone- Of course not! Whose parents would do that?

Some people use talk about adult stars loosely
Sunny Leone- I think India doesn't have an adult entertainment industry - that's why people have no idea what it is. I ran a company that took care of the deals I sealed with firms to sell and share my content online and to other media. Running a company was hard work. I'd work for about 60-70 hours a week. It wasn't a party. I have only one partner. So that way, I'm very restrained in the real world.


What do you have to say about Indian men?
I think men are the same across the globe. They all think very similar. Guys are simple creatures and have a simple mindset. They don’t like drama. They eat, sleep, work and come home. I don’t think men are complicated.


How did you get into this profession?
It never landed in my lap. I met an agent in America who was very respectful and took things really slow. It wasn’t something that I had thought about. I have now set up my own company with my partner and we make four to five movies a month which includes everything right from shooting, directing to editing and promoting them.


How do people behave with you?
I show my fans so much respect that they reciprocate it to me. When a guy comes up to me, he wants my attention for those 30 seconds and I give him my undivided attention.

Are you updated with the latest Bollywood happenings?
Not really. But I must say that Indian women are gorgeous both in movies and soap operas. My parents usually watch these soap operas.

Who according to you is the hottest Bollywood actor?
Salman Khan. My baby cousin is in love with him. My mission on this show is to get his picture with or without me signed by him for my cousin.

Sushil Kumar KBC interview, video

Sushil Kumar, winner of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 5, is the pride of Bihar. His house is so famous that even if you address a letter to Sushil Kumar, KBC winner, Motihari, the letter will be delivered to his doorstep. Motihari is now a global name thanks to this enterprising lad.

Sushil says that before he won KBC, no one recognized him and the ones who did pretended that he didn’t exist. He said that a lot of people wouldn’t pick up his call and now they are the ones who call him frantically and tag along their names to him.

Sushil Kumar, the 27-year-old son of a retired Rs.70-a-day farm labourer from Gandhiji’s Champaran, says, “Nothing can be more gratifying for someone who has tasted years of failure and humiliation.” Sushil’s childhood friend Irfan Ahmad, says, “You could almost call him a renaissance man for small town youth. Young people with high aspirations but limited resources think he has all the answers.”

Though he is the cynosure of all eyes now, Sushil is grounded enough to know that fame is fickle. He admits that he would love peace in his life, seek the life of the anonymous and go back to his first love, reading.
Though viewers watched Amitabh Bachchan handing him over a mouth-watering check of Rs. 5 crore to Sushil Kumar on November 2, the actual check amount which is Rs. 3.5 crore, deducting taxes, reached his home after November 12. The KBC winner says, “The delay is because I do not have a PAN card and am in the process of getting one made.” Sushil is working on a salary of Rs. 6,000 a month as a computer operator with MNREGA (the rural development ministry’s job guarantee scheme).

Sushil Kumar says that with his Rs. 3.5 crore cheque, he has a lot of commitment. His father Amarnath Prasad says . “All that’s on my mind at present is to get our ancestral house released from mortgage, build a new one large enough for the entire family and start a business in which Sushil’s brothers can be gainfully engaged.”

Sushil has an additional ambition to spread knowledge through books. “I also want to build a library and help children who have talent and dreams but little resources to pursue them.The remaining money will be banked to generate a steady income of interest.”

At this point of time, the debt of the family has sunk in even more. Anil Kumar, the KBC winner’s elder brother says, We were already paying interest of Rs.25,000 a month on our borrowings. Now we have been burdened with increased expenditure because we travelled with Sushil to Mumbai by air, took taxis to Patna and are now entertaining an endless stream of guests.”

Though after the win, people are more than forthcoming to lend the family more cash at the drop of hat, Sushil knows the real motive. He says, “Success in borrowing has nothing to do with need. It’s all about perceptions of your financial solvency to repay the debt.”

Even at home, family members are taking credit for Sushil Kumar’s 5 crore win story. His father says that the family has allowed him more space to study and had not pressure on him to contribute to the common kitty. . “He could not have succeeded without this support,” insists Amarnath.

Sushil’s father-in-law thinks that his daughter contributed to the win. “I was among the first to spot talent in Sushil. That’s why I gave him my daughter’s hand in marriage. She has brought him luck,” says Krishna Patel, father of Sushil’s wife Seema, at his pakora shop in Meena Bazar, Motihari.

Whatever the claims may be, the modest lad has done it for his family. He had been a keen student o f general knowledge and this feat has definitely inspired many students of Motihari to be competitive in this front. . “From 2003 to 2007, I was part of such a group called Jai Hind,” says Sushil.

Sushil Kumar had gone through a testing time when it came to the last question. If he had answered it wrong, he would have slipped to a mere Rs.1.6 lakhs. But he kept his head cool and also poured water on it after he won Rs. 5 crore!

Does he know that he almost blew the Rs. 20 crore KBC set?! “I poured a bottle of water over my head in joy when I won, and the people at the channel later told me I’d almost caused a short circuit that would have destroyed the set!” he laughs. What is his personal career goal now? Sushil Kumar would love to become an IAS officer. With a quiet, steely resolve; he says, ‘I think it can be done.”

Amitabh Bachchan Writes about Aishwarya Rai's Baby

Amitabh Bachchan is as good a writer as he is an actor.  As much as we are happy about Aishwarya Rai's child, we are simply awestruck by the poetic effervescence of Big B's inimitable style of writing. Here goes:

The soft innocence of nature rests in my arms, oblivious of what else happens around her. Occasionally she opens her large and what looks now to be eyes of the lighter hue, which those that have dealt with similar, know shall change with time. Often the gentlest of smiles quiver across her pouted upper lip, the shut eyes bringing expression through the brows and the settling down to that dream she must dream. Her head covered in the littlest of head gear she will ever adorn, snuggles into her mini quilt of varied colors dominated by the pink softness of its material.

As I look down upon her I bring myself back to the visual when I had placed her Father in just condition into my Father’s hands, to be heralded into our home. I stare at her in silence. She reciprocates in similar vein. It is too delicate a moment. I am unaccustomed to such delicate state. Should I shake my arms cradle like to give comfort, or maybe simply remain still as family cameras and members gather around. The ladies about, ogle with baby like sounds intermittently, and deliver diverse opinions on who she resembles. There are animated conversations of how this state of delivery was reached, in some intricate terminology and detail. These words are new to me. I have not heard them. Or perhaps not heard them often enough to know them. After a pregnant pause it is time for her to be airlifted from within my arms. I give this angelic face a prolonged look …

Top Ten Bollywood Item Numbers, Dance Tracks-2011

Here are the top 10 Bollywood dance and item numbers of 2011:

1. Dhinka-chika- This number promises to make everyone either break into a dance or tap their feet. Dhinka Chika was a spin-off of the Ringa Ringa number in Arya 2 (Telugu movie) that had Allu Arjun. Sri Devi Prasad composed music for both the versions.

2. Bhaag D K Bose- The anthem of the nation from May to July, the delightful number Bhaag D K Bose was loved or hated but never ignored. The controversial reason was one of the biggest factors in the triumph of Delhi Belly.

3. Jalebi Bai-  Sheela Ki Jawani met its competition when Jalebi Bai hit the screens. Mallika Sherawat's item number was quite a watch and those facial expressions are still being emulated by many.

4. Character Dheela-Zarine Khan says that she worked so hard for Veer but it never even got her half the recognition that a sweeping, peppy item number like Character Dheela gave her for Ready.

5. Paint it Red- Ah, the amazing Tomatina festival in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.  It is so evident that the actors had a blast while shooting the song.  Paint it Red track is easily the best picturized song of 2011 and quite a delight to list

6. Mit Jaye Gum (Dum Maaro Dum)- Deepika Padukone in a mini skirt with frills danced to the inane lyrics about sitting bare on potty, but the killer moves and the spicy expressions of Deepika along with the reprised version of the track worked.

7. Char Baj Gaye(Faltu)- This is one song you would love to hear again and again. Quite a peppy track, it often tends to be played in the beginning of an evening party and quite understandably so.

8. Aa Zara-  The track from Murder 2  has Yana Gupta in this classy item number. But somehow we fill that this song should have been towards the end, not in the beginning because it is too much of a good thing right at the beginning. Audio-wise, we would hit the rewind button again.

9. Chammak Chalo- Chammak Challo featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor, with the voice of Akon worked like charm and Kareena kapoor looked drop dead gorgeous, however it does not have the lasting power as some of the tracks above.

10.Tinku Jiya- Tinku Jiya was quite a catchy number from one of the biggest hits of the year-Yamla Pagla Deewana. The item girl was the saucy Madhuri Bhattacharya.

Sunny Leone was born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada to a Sikh family hailing from India. Right from childhood, she had an athletic streak in her and would play street hockey with the boys next door. She graduated from high school in 1999 and enrolled into a college. Before coming to the adult industry, Sunny Leone worked at a German bakery and then at a tax and retirement firm.

Sunny aka Karen Malhotra is engaged to Matt Erikson, vice-president of Playboy Enterprises. She resides in Hollywood, California.

A source explains, "There are two single men - Akshdeep Saigal and Siddarth and one married man - Amar Upadhyay, who are currently in the house. 6. Vaastav- Ask any Sanjay Dutt fan which is his best movie, and Vaastav will come in the top 3. ‘Thodi Si Gaslet dena maa’ says Sanjay Dutt to his on-screen mom Reema Lagoo in one of the most nerve-wracking scene as his mother shoot his delirious son to eternal peace.
7. Rang De Basanti- A hugely entertaining movie peppered with a social message, Rang De Basanti starts with liberal doses of comedy, has its moments of romance, thrills and drama; all culminating in a tragic end, as the four friends hold up a radio-station asking for justice. They are gunned to the death and the media is confused whether they were really martys or terrorists
8. Kagaz Ke Phool- The famous film maker Suresh Sinha gets heart-broken, takes to drinking , reminisces his glory days and dies alone, ignored.
9. Deewar- Amitab Bachchan dies in his mother’s arms weary and beleaguered. A saga of two brothers, driven by circumstances, one choses the righteous path; the other treads on a criminal path and meets a sad end
10. Mukkadar ka Sikandar- Prakash Mehra’s melodramatic Mukkadar Ka Sikandar ends in a high tragic note as Amitabh Bachchan finds that his girlfriend Rekha swallowed a diamond and killed herself. Heartbroken, Amitabh Bachchan sings himself to death, dying in the arms of his buddy, Vinod Khanna.
